Macross Chronicle is getting more interesting with more new drawings, mecha concepts prototypes. Hopefully toy makers get aware of these and the market potential Macross has. One company is definitely Yamato which has explored in making Macross 7 series toys. This edition, we have VF-0D, VF-19F with super parts, Macross 7 attached to colony and VF-14. One that I particularly like is the mecha that has 3 mode transformation between regult, valkyrie and battroid.

Ha! Ha! I can't even draw a simple Gundam. We are in the same league.
hehehe... the mechas i’ve drawn before (it’s been a long time since i drew my last own mechas...) r quite different to this ones, but my speciality is not the illustration but the graphic/web design (LOL)... i love all this stuff, is marvelous !!! yumi !!!
Wonder drawing comes with talent or practices. It's amazing to see how these artistic stuff got done up!
I think is a bit of both. But of course I also believe that practice makes perfect, even without talent.
Nowadays we are spoiled by all the graphic softwares that had many tools to assist in creating nice looking art / robots.
It will be a good thing to start off with hand sketching and eventually turning concept drawing to enhance drawing with the use of graphic softwares. Cheers!
