Hard to find vintage collectable model kit Macross II VALKYRIE II -Lovers again- manufactured back in 1992 by BANDAI. This 1/100 scale model kit of the VF-2SS has fully articulating arms and legs and is full transformable into all three modes. Fighters, Gerwalk, and Battroid modes.
I’m always praying that Bandai or Yamato would make a toy of VF-2SS but seems that till now, my prayers have not been answered. Saw this VF-2SS model kit on EBay Singapore recently and so I bided for it. The model kit came loose with some parts missing. There were yellowing on the plastic and so I painted it over with white paint.
The model can actually transforms into three different modes with additional parts however due to missing parts, mine could only remain as battroid. Well, I have no complaint since it’s only for fifteen bucks. This vintage model kit still looks nice on display after some touch-up.

It is still so white! you really did a good job in keeping the toys. :D
Hee! Hee! I should thank the white paint! Happy to savage the kit!
Even though im not a big fan of M2 you can't deny that the mecha looked awesome, those super parts are the business.
Very nice salvage work! The VF-2SS is a beautiful machine, and goes nicely with Toynami's 1/100 Valkyries.
It is too bad you missed the recent reissue kit. The instructions even had a great poster of the box art.

The VF-1S lookalike head design looks great too. I don't deny the fun factor still is the SAP!

I missed the reissued kit from HLJ and it was sold out very fast! I won't forget to take pics of this kit with my 1/100 Toynami valkyries when I blog on them in future. Thx for the heads up!
Is that Valkyrie II unpainted or modified in a way? 'Cause if it isn't I'm getting one right now.
It's a model kit that come unpainted.
I know, but I'm asking you whether or not you tuned it up by painting it.
Yap! Just the basic colors of grey, white and yellow. The blue area on the chest is the decal.
awesome, I'm going to buy it now. ^_^
Your VF-2SS is very well painted, my VF-2SS arms and leg are unable to as white as the other white parts.
