Macross Chronicle 4

The YF-21 valkyrie that was featured in Macross Chronicle Volume 4 coincided with my early posting on Macross Plus. I have decided not to continue collecting Macross Chronicle magazine. But don't worry, I will continue to blog on future release of Macross Chronicle cos I will first buy the magazine and resell them to Mr K at discounted rate. Will also get the Macross Chronicle binder for Mr K as well since I have ordered from Falcon's Hangar.

Revoltech YF-21

Front view of box

Back view of box

Still in the mood of Macross Plus so I decided to blog on my Kaiyodo Revoltech Macross Plus YF-21. The test pilot of YF-21 is Guld Goa Bowman, one half human and half Zentradi. BRevoltech YF-21 was released after the success of Patlabor, Macross, Transformers & Mazinger figurines. The figurine is highly detailed and it able to be posed in many ways, just like those cool poses you see in the anime.

Before Revoltech series were introduced, Kaiyodo had been very sucessful producing anime character figurines. Because of Revoltechnology, Kaiyodo had set robotic figurines standard to a new height.

Macross Plus DVD

The DVD content

I would like to showcase my code 1 Macross Plus complete collection DVD which I bought online some time back. I won't say this is a spectacular OVA cos most might not like it if it is not related to Macross. The story kind of evolved around the love entanglement of three friends which led to the rivalry of the two test pilots. One of which, Isamu Alva Dyson (YF19) & Guld Goa Bowman (YF21). The OVA does have some outstanding 3D effect taking into consideration the era of production. I personally did quite fancy its soundtracks as I find the songs rather depressing.

Banpresto S.C.M Dynames

Front view of the box

Back view of the box

The price of Banpresto S.C.M (Special Creative Model) Gundam has been fairly affordable at C.S due to fierce competitions among flea-market sellers. A lot of reviews on S.C.M figurine had also been quite highly rated. It's mainly contributed by high articulation & posabilities.

I bought this Gundam 00 Dynames together with Exia as they were sold as a pair. I'm hoping Banpresto would also release other Gundams from 00 series, especially Virtue or Nadleeh. That would be great!

Gundam Dynames 1st appearance...

Found this clip on SD Gundam OO (REALLY CUTE)...

I'm afraid posting on Mr K's collection would have to stop here for now. So sorry that I could not take more pics cos my digital camera SD card did not have enough memory space to store too many pics. I guess it's time to change my SD card. Hee! Hee!

Before I signed out, I would like to express my thanks to Mr K for his generosity in allowing me to present his awesome collection to you. My next stop shall be Jason's house....

Mr K's Ace Fighters

Correct me if I'm wrong? This is Yamato 1/60 Max VF-1J T.V version

Mr K has two of these lovely Yamato 1/60 Super Ostriches. Cool double seated, I think that Minmay sitting behind Lt Hikaru Ichijo

Elintseeker: You can't escape from the radar detection

Twin Bandai reissed 1/55 VF-1S Roy Fockker super valkyrie ~ Always my favourite

Bandai reissed 1/55 VF-1A DYRL Hikaru Ichijo

Don't they look like F16 Tomcats? There are the Aces from Mr K's Macross valkyrie collection. The valkyrie also look outstanding in fighter mode. Mr K could perhaps get the Macross valkyrie display stand so as to ideally to show off the fighters. Ha! Ha!

Mr K's Strike/Super Valkyries

Heroes from DYRL is Yamato 1/48 strike VF-1S Hikaru and VF-1A super valkyrie Max

Yamato 1/48 strike VF-1S Roy Fokker on the left and 1/48 VF-1A Hikaru fast pack in gerwalk mode

From the left 1/48 VF-1A Hikaru in battroid mode, 1/48 VF-1A Kakizaki super valkyrie ~ this one is awesome!

So sorry that I overlook on taking more pics of 1/48 VF-1A Angel Bird.

Here's more of Mr K's valkyries in strike and super fast pack. In my opinion, strike/super valkyrie really stands out on display. No wonder strike/super parts are so rare nowadays.

Let's take to close up look at the top section of Mr K's display shelf on Macross toys. These are high impact strong firepower valkyries ranging from super valkyrie, strike valkyrie and all the way to Great Battroid Pack. These are mostly I don't have since I have given up 1/48 Yamato valkyries.

Mr K's Macross section

Here come's the most interesting part of Mr K's collection. It's the section filled with Macross toys. Some of the Macross toys were once mine and I'm glad to have sold them to Mr K since he is able to display them nicely. An impressive collection of Macross toys!

I had successfully influenced Mr K to the world of Mospeada by first introducing him to Mospeada anime DVD. Mr K is now as enthusiastic as I am in collecting Mospeada collectibles. Unlike me, Mr K would display his toys and I really admire the way he pose his toys. It really bring out the soul of the toy. Thanks to Mr K, I am able to touch some of the Mospeada toys physically. Cheers!
