There are also a lot of other Macross related Original Video Animation (OVA). Some of the OVA or series include Macross 2, Macross 7, Macross Plus, Macross Zero and Macross Frontier (this is the latest). I used to have Macross 7 DVD boxset, but sold it away cos I don't find it interesting. The sound track ain't very catchy and the storyline is too draggy. I particularly like Macross 2 and Macross Zero. The battle scene of Macross 2 is intense and the animation is well drawn. Too bad there isn't any toyline on Macross 2 except the model kit.
Macross Zero is the prequel of the original Macross TV series. The valkyries design are a-like F14 Tomcat. As Macross Zero is a recently production, it also included a lot 3D scenes and the valkyies VF0 A/S are really cool in 3D.
The bottom two DVDs as shown in the pic are original code 2 DVDs featuring short video clip and product advertisement. Didn't have much original code 2 DVD cos they are really quite costly. Each DVD would cost roughly S$80 -S$100. They are also not easy to grab hold of.
