I first noticed this character on an Instagram post and I know I need to have it. Combatron is a fictional Filipino comic book character. Created by Berlin H. Manalaysay, he first appeared in Funny Komiks in 1992. I got in touch with Halimaw Sculptures and special thanks to Miss Andrea for liaising and assisting me to get Mr. Berlin H. Manalaysay (the creator of Combatron) to sign on my figure and the box. So thrilled to receive my 4” Combatron figure. The toy that traveled all the way from Philippines π΅π to Singapore πΈπ¬... Packed with awesomeness! The packaging sizing is compatible to Funko POP too!

Well, that’s great!... I wish I could get a designer toy or any other collectible signed by its creator / designer, so far I have had no chance to do so, but who knows, maybe at some point in the future?... Very nice character design, kinda cute and the metallic accent both in the paint job and the box art fit very well Combatron, also it’s very interesting to see a product related with the comic scene in Philippines!...

Yes bro, as I ventured into the world of designer's toy, I realised there are a lot of talented toy or comic designer in Philippines. Of course tons of brilliant designers locally and overseas. It's a very pleasure dealing and yeah, toy refreshes our souls!
