I usually not a fan of the baddies but there many reasons for me to get this toy! Before I elaborate further, let's talk about Starscream, the second-in-command of the Decepticons better known for his cowardice and betrayal. Yet, so call the greatest military strategist known throughout Cybertron and leader of the seekers (Thundercracker and Skywarp). The squadron has brought him great power and glory.
Transformers Generations Leader Class Starscream has the colour scheme and look of the old Starscream from the the original G1 cartoon which I love it! I do like the not-too-complicated 16 steps transformation between robot mode to jet mode as it shared a similar mold with my earlier Generations Leader Class Jetfire.
Since its Leader Class toy, it has a good handling size of approximately 10" and solid weight too. Been an interesting toy with gimmicks such as optional blasters on limps to boost up the firepower for destruction as well as the main rifle with spring action shoot out bullet mechanism. Furthermore, the cockpit can be opened and I had some fun putting Robotech pilots from Toynami Masterpiece Collection toy-line. Rick Hunter aka Hikaru Ichijo and Roy Focker fitted in well though.
What I like most is the addition crown which again brought me back to the G1 movie when Starscream discarded, Megatron, into deep space when he was still functioning. Scheming Starscream then forged the crown, claim that throne in delusion that he is the one who rules the Decepticons. What an ironic! I prefer having the crown on the Starscream, cause without the crown left an awkward hole on the forehead. Somehow I feel that this toy would be ultra awesome if its sprayed metallic... hmm ... Just a thought ^_^

Sorry pal, but without ignoring the merits of several mecha heroes, I think the bad guys could look more dashing and appealing sometimes (maybe that’s why I love Nemesis Prime =P)... While Starscream is treacherous, conceited and kind of pathetic as leader, its mecha design is one of the best in Cybertron and its transformation in fighter fits like a glove its megalomaniac delusions... That’s a great figure !!!... =D

Classic Starstream is awesome and I like your idea of filling in the cockpit with pilots from other toys - that alone is enough to make me craving for this!!!!

I tried out the idea after finding out the cockpit can open and the rest runs wild ^_^
