STGCC Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention 2015 - Cutie Stuffs

All good things must come to an end and its time to say goodbye : ( Lets just do a finale post of STGCC Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention 2015 with a cutie, sweet, retro and funky stuffs for somethings to linger on. POP! Vinyl figurines are in trend now with their ever expansion of licensed characters. Instead of walking dead, Medicom Toy is exploring oriental zombie to jumping dead with a dash of beary cuteness, with tons of Be@rbrick 400% Jiang Shi of various sizes. Try counting them? 'Rony The Peculiar' to send more chill down the spine - Kind of reminded me of 'Adam Family'.. Gothic is the name I supposed.

Even stuffs from our daily life is part of inspiration to designer toys by SKLO like 'More Culture Than You' bottle display, inspired by cultured milk like 'Yakult'. 'Going Bad Apple' pokes fun @ Disney's Snow White with hand grenade instead of apple by Mighty Jaxx. I have seen Ultraman deities  REVOLTECH introduced the TAKEYA series where they took a giant step to make Japanese deities into pose-able figures! But Ultraman in Thai Buddha form is seriously outrageous! In a way crazy awesome! Lolz ... I almost burst out laughing. Not to be rude, so why not take this with a pinch of salt with Funicorn, bad to the bone edition 'Zero Fcuk Given', my little middle finger pony! Sure looks like a cool trophy for a dear friend, don't you think?

Katsuden's wrapping up STGCC Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention 2015. Thank you STGCC public relations, organizers and sponsors. Thank you all for staying tuned and hope to be back next year for more coverage and wonderful time. Cheers ^_^

Unbelievable, we were there at the start of the event. Browsed the brochure and saw the glow-in-dark version as well.

designer toys always manage to spice up any hobby convention !!!... as designer, i have admired the work of these pioneers, who don’t fail to subvert the "status quo" of the toy industry, with some sarcasm, humor, new and creepy ideas... that’s precisely what i like to do in my job, when i’m allowed, LOL !!!... =D

Envy your job which provide room for creativity. Designer toys are unconventional and an expression of daily life with fun and naughty at times...
