MG Zaku Zeta - Promotion Post for Mono-Eyed Gathering 2015

Doing this promotion post for the nearing Mono-Eyed Gathering 2015 that's going to happen this 21st March from 12pm to 2pm @ Omocha Mura Toy Village. It's a non competitive event for the purpose of Gunpla gathering with participants standing a chance to win lucky draw prizes. I will be there and so are most of our Gundam-Chit-Chat-Club members. In fact, all are welcome as the event aim's is to get to know Gunpla heroes.

My collection of mono-eyed kits are really limited but somehow the event had me think of this crazy idea of combining my MG Zaku II version 2.0 with MG Zeta Gundam version 1.0. After all, it's just put a Zaku head on the Zeta Gundam. It happened in Gundam ZZ anime when Zeta gundam's head was destroyed in one of the battles and had been replaced with a Zaku's head. I wonder why didn't they use GM II or Nemo head instead. Why so serious?! Lol

i thought is was only a graphic joke, but it actually happened in the Gundam Zeta Series !!!... the contrast is just too odd to consider it, the Zeta had a pioneer design, much more modern than the RX-78 and the Zaku II looks quite old fashioned in comparison... you don’t know what it got till your head is gone LOL !!!... =)

I guess Sunrise wanted that cheesy touch to Zeta back then. I must agree that Zaku head on Zeta body totally uncompatible. Yet it was fun to do so for some life and laughters to the anime series. Zeta design is definitely a breakthrough on Gundam design and first transformable Gundam.

Any goes in the eyes of Gundam fans. ZZ is a really vintage which the drawing maybe not be what more new fans expected.
