In recent years, subculture related to Japanese anime and manga has rapidly attracted worldwide attention. To make the most of this trend, 'The Japan Foundation', established in 1972, has organized this traveling exhibition which examine such characters as one radical aspect of this subculture and their influences.
Many alike the Japanese, had been introduced to characters from manga and anime with merchandises of these characters been inspired. Some of which are characters that grew up with you, the heroes you long to be and badass villains you loved and hatred.
Take a walk down memory lane at this non-commercialized and educational exhibition happening @ NAFA Campus 1, located @ Lim Hak Tai Gallery (80 Bencoolen Street) till 12th December.

this exhibition is absolutely AWESOME, man !!!... quite informative and nicely displayed... i wish that the Japanese Embassy in my hometown organize events like this one... i’m pretty sure that they will have tons of visitors, since the japanese culture, in general terms, is very appreciated by a lot of people like me... =D
I hope this traveling exhibition will come to place near you. The scale isn't big however it's pretty decent. I'm sure education and cultural exchange is the key.
