I was browsing through HLJ list of Macross stuff when I came across this awesome pouch. It must have been around for a while as the item was long sold out. A follow-up search on Ami Ami ended up the same result. In my opinion, Macross apparels and accessories don't come by as easy compared to Gundam. It's good to have several online shopping links for Japanese toys and stuff so the answer to my desire is Rakuten this time round.
This Macross Roy Fokker Special pouch follows the primary colour scheme of Roy's VF-1S valkyrie, which is (black, white and yellow) in the pattern of Roy's VF-1S, chest area in battroid mode. It also bears the iconic Roy Fokker's insignia, the skull as well as U.N Spacy logo. It's a simple pouch but with character, that come with a hook harness that allows the pouch to be conveniently hang around any loop, in my case, the belt loop. I'm using it as a handphone pouch, one that is distinguish myself as a Macross fan. Tributes to Senpai Roy Focker!!!!

Made an re-arrangement of my display cabinet during the Lunar New Year. It's a new arrangement with 1/48, 1/60, Banpresto, Revoltech, SD and trading figure of Roy Focker. Will blog about them in future.

I like the way Roy was portray in Macross. Veteran pilot who look carefree but showed his awesomeness in battle. A great mentor to Hikaru and his death makes it even more legendary. I'm wearing this pouch with pride. Cheers!

it seems you’re a humble guy, although you know how to get exclusive items =O... i like the military feeling of the soft case and the skull symbol looks pretty much like a pirate flag for me, so in the Macross fighter makes it look like a mercenary plane... also the Crossbone Gundam comes to my mind... finally there are a lot of connotations here... sigh* =)

Yup! The skull symbolizing the skull squadron of fighter pilots are pretty kickass. It's nature that if you relate the skull to Gundam, Crossbone will come to your mind like space pirates.
