I’m not sure Bandai would even released a MG Powered GM but I definitely can’t till that day now that Akocreation had come up with 1/100 scale Powered GM Conversion Plastic Model kit, making this unit featured in Gundam 0083 ‘Stardust Memory’ a reality in 1/100 scale. Well, my impatience, impulsiveness and lack skills in Gunpla and led me to many errors and areas which I had overlooked. So please excuse my lapses on this kit. Afterall, this is my first attempt on conversion kit. Apart from giving the kit an entire new coat of paint, I had also applied waterslide decals customed to RGM series (Also available @ Akocreation). As for panel lines, I used only pencil to draw. In case of lines drawn went out of alignment, I could still erase it off. Sounds amateur isn’t it? On a personal note, the completion of this 1/100 Powered GM gave great sense of accomplishment and it spurs me to try out more conversion kit on grunt units from Gundam series.
Background of RGM-79C Powered GM from 'Gundam Wikia'
The RGM-79C Powered GM was built in the year UC 0083 and stationed at Torrington Base, Australia where it was assigned to test pilot Dick Allen. The Powered GM had been tested in mock battles against multiple Zaku II F2 Types, typically ending in victory without Dick having pushed the machine to its limits. On October 13 the Torrington Base was attacked by members of the Delaz Fleet. The Powered GM would be sortied against the enemy mobile suits, and later sent out as a member of one of the teams sent after the Zeon mobile suits. The Powered GM was destroyed and its pilot killed during the pursuit.

woow the RGM looks muscular, I like it bro,,, but I wander how if you attach the panel line in the upper body and the back,
Bro for you first conversion kit I must say that is some great work! Just learn from your mistakes and improve for the next kit haha!
the powered units look quite better than the regular, what a pity that they could b overwhelmed by some regular Zeon units =(... next time, take ur time to do a better job bro, the results always worth the wait =)
Great build dude, looks perfect to me, think im going to have to watch 0083 again because i really want to see this in action.
Great work! From the looks of it, it is really much more powered up than the typical GM. Wished that it had more screen time in 0083. XD

Same here, I like the robust look of Powered GM. Now that you remind me, I should add some light lining to the back of the jet pack.

I had bought a Zaku EFGF version and in future after I build it, I would want to put it beside this Powered GM just like the anime. Hee! Hee!

I know you are fan of UC timeline and catching Powered GM on 0083 is easy as it appear in the first mock up battle scene in the first episode. Cool!

Indeed, the beef up and definitely the same of the thrusters.
Its an awesome piece of work bro! Love the heavy duty look. U have levelled up ur gunpla building stats.
Your words are very encouraging bro! Like ithis MS a lot and can't help staring at it each time I enter my room.
Live the added green light to the eye shield. Makes him look like he eats his veggies and protein drinks
Ha! Ha! Glad you like the photoshop effect. I wanted the first pic to be like a advertisement poster.
well done sir, well done... HAHAHA
Thank you bro! It's a GM for starters. Hee! Hee!
This white version Gundam looks nice as well..
Bro, this is a grunt unit from Gundam series and comparing it to Gundam, it lacks the protection and luck. Hee! Hee!
