Hobbylink Japan Sale Till 8th April 2011

Most of you who had browsed the internet or tuned in to TV/radio will know about Senai earthquake and tsunami. The perilous state of Fukushima’s reactors also had raised concerns to radioactive hazard. Natural disaster of such magnitude had claimed thousands of lives beside stand-stilling human activities. Let us all pray for the dead and give our support in every possible way to those going through this difficult time. Inevitably, the emergency in Japan had also affected the industries related to anime & manga. I had just visited the website of 'Hobbylink Japan' and gotten to know that their warehouse had experienced tremors. Thankfully their staffs are all safe.

However, 30% to 40% of their inventory had ended up on the floor. For those who had ordered toys & Gunpla from Japan, please understand that the items would take longer to come and let's not be fussy on the box condition. This is nothing compared to those suffering from the disaster right now. To lift up your spirit a little, Hobbylink Japan 'HJL' is now having sale up to 80% on most Yamato toys, gasaphon & figurines. I had placed my order for 1/24 Scale USA Patlabor Ingram CLAT which is going @ 65% off. Good deal and it seems my patience paid off.

The devastating really shock the world again, however, the main concern now turns to its nuclear reactors which are in an unclear state and Japan "sources" seems to be contradicting the information that they release time and again (CNN).
Saw the promotion few days ago, but.. unfortunately budget allocation for hobby has not reach that "level" just yet. HAHA! Good buy bro~ Hope to see it here soon.

Yes bro, I hope things turn out for the best. Your intel are very fast bro. The discount on the 1/24 CLAT Ingram is too hard for me to resist. I wanted it long ago but the price was steep. Even thou the price after discount plus shipping cost is still considerably on the high end. I will not let the opportunity slip by.

Technology and economic had made the world smaller than it seems. Major mishaps in other countries would affect us indirectly some-how-or-rather.

Support the sale and pump in your money to support their economy.

More bad news of possible meltdown to the reactors and it's worrying. I'm sure everyone is hoping for the best and those rescuers had tried damn hard. Our respect to them so risking their lives to save others.

You are right bro! Japanese are stoic people and it's touching to see that they behave in such orderly fashion so as not to make matter worst.

i heard that japanese people r not used to some socially accepted samples of kindness like hugs... so when u see images of people there, hugging their relatives after they were separated by the earthquake, u can realize something painful in many ways is happening... i know this will sound obnoxious, but i wouldn’t pray for dead people, but for those who r still alive
