I visited Funan Shopping Centre today and had made an astonishing find. There's a new toy shop that's of quite an impressive scale. I'm not sure how long the shop existed, but it seems new from telltale signs like the staffs ain't too sure of pricing, they are still unpacking and arranging some toys. There's a lot of merchandises related to anime ranging from trading figures, Gunpla, statues, gasaphons, T-shirts, posh toys, jigsaw puzzle and other accessories.
At 'La Tendo', I could find toys from popular titles like 'One Piece', 'Dragonball Z', 'Gundam', 'Mask Rider', 'Ultraman', 'K On', 'World of Warcraft' and etc... So, look out for 'La Tendo' at level 5 as well as 'Cawaii Koohii' maid cafe that's just on the opposite side. Gotten ask Alfred along to patronize the maid cafe. Hee! Hee!
Not forgetting the pioneer toy shop 'Rapid Culture' also at the same level. If that's not enough, try walking to the building besides, 'Peninsular Plaza', go to basement 1 and you would be able to find 'Robo Robo' toy shop.

oh, i was there a few days ago & couldn’t see anything (OFC, & my name is Cristóbal Colón HAHAHAHAHAHAHA)... this store seems bigger than those available here (i mean, specialized stores, cuz the department stores has a bigger space for exhibition, but less variety =( )

Dennis, the shop is originally located at Kallang Theatre. They moved in Funan last year. The pricing there is very expensive just like the one in Rapid Culture :)
I see! It's no wonder I could not find the hobby shop at Kallang Leisure during the CYN period. So it had relocated here. Good for me cos it more convenient. They do have so items on offer that's pretty affordable.

If I came across something like that in the US, my credit card would be in trouble.
My wallet was pretty empty that day spending on some GM conversion kits. No more extra cash on other toys for the moment. Gotten discipline myself a little. Hee! Hee!
