Transformers Seacons

Whenever I accompany Jason to CSC, it's alway interesting to see what toys he bought and if condition permits, I would take any chances to borrow his toys to play and probably take some pics. This time round, I got my hands on these Hasbro reissued Seacons. Unlike most combiners, Seacons has an additional member, making them six in total. If you have watched the cartoon, you would noticed that Snaptrap is the only unique member who need only to draw any five Seacons abundant at sea to form Piranacon.

I'm sure most TF fans would be thrill to see another combiners been reissued even though there some slight alteration to the colour scheme. Hasbro probably changed the colours slightly to differential these from the original G1, which now cost a few hundred dollars. Since there's so many members to feature, I will do a separate posting on Snaptrap and when all members formed Piranacons.

huh !!! ur friend has some quite nice & interesting toys... i had not heard of them so far (Seacons)... i like the most the colour scheme of these guys, brilliant, but the mold is vintage, like in the G1... the card is very attractive (i guess they took the idea from Takara, cuz Hasbro doesn’t include this item in its TFs)... i’ll b waiting for the combined post =D

It's from the G1 vintage mold with slight different in colours to some minor parts. These Seacons are the ones that form the limbs and weapons to piranacon.

I feel the same way too bro! Maybe I was smarter then to transform the toy. I like G1 TF a lot too!

Understandable cos Seacons appeared in later TF cartoon in the Japan series Power Master. The emergencies combiners are called Protectorbots and Military ones are call Combatacons.

Now this brings back memories. I used to have the set way back in the day. It was fun ding the combine into the big Sea King and fighting with my other combiners

Will you consider to buy the Master Piece Rodimus when it comes out in Jan 2011? I am eagerly waiting for that one.

I wanted the classic rodimus toy as well, but is so darn expensive.

I won't buy mainly becos it's no longer my collection toyline but I'm positive that the value MP Rodimus Prime will go up with time like other MP pieces. So is Henkei version or G1 encore.
