This is the evil-looking GP02 Gundam with nuclear warhead bazooka. The mobile suit was featured in 0083 Stardust Memory and it's piloted by lieutenant Gato from Principality of Zeon. Actually, Gato hijacked this macho Gundam, sent it to space and eventually managed to kick the Earth Federation butts with nuke.
When I peeled off the sticker tag, I began to recall that I bought this babe from Takashimaya department store for S$69.90 as stated on the price tag. Had two pieces of these, one on display and the other in MISB condition.

All body parts are big but the head is very small..Is this the proportion it should be?
Yes, this is the right proportion for GP02. The bigger body and weapons has made the head look small.

Gunpla is definitely the more accurate sculpt. In fact Gundam is mainly about model kits.
I'm far from a pro in terms of photography bro! My best friend works at Canon camera service centre. I'm using a Canon point & shoot and so he gave me lots of tips. Hee! Hee!
i like also the MG version with extrafinish but i hav 2 look "him" from far... i’m running out of bucks ;(...
Oh yes, being a collectors would usually a lot on their hobbies. I have lotz in my wishlist but they just gonna wait. I like the scale of MG kits, just at the in between and awesome in showcase. Cheers!

Definitely an impressive Gundam with the large body parts and weapons. The face does look menacing as he looks like he is yelling at you.

Even though GP02 has got few weapons like beam saber, head vulcans and bazooka. With good support and cover by its comrades, it really can cause devastating impact.
This gundam look hulk like. The arms and guns and shield are really big for him...maybe he got a small head...the head look different from normal gundam too. Long face. Nice!
Yes, GP02 does have unique feature. It supposed to be great partner of GP01 and an asset to Earth Federation. Sad that fate got all twisted.
The same fate goes to GP04 Gerbera which becomes Cima's Gerbera Tetra thanks to Anaheim Electronics intervention T_T

Anaheim Electronics is some how like a two-headed snake. Benefit by just selling arms during conflict.

Hello, I never knew that the GP-02 existed in this size. I bought one myself shortly after I read you're blog.
I have one question though do you have a problem with the figure holding the shield?
Mine seems to lean over and has a hard time holding it.

So it mine actually, takes some patience to stabilize it. I way is to rest the shield on the foot of GP02. I hope you enjoy playing the toy. Cheers!
