This is definitely the best turn-based strategy game I have ever played. Langrisser is probably known to most gamers as Warsong. Warsong is the English version of this game played on SEGA 16 Bits. Till today, Langrisser has 4 sequels and I have completed only the first two parts. This Langrisser 1 & 2 Playstation boxset is now very rare because only limited quantity was converted from SEGA Saturn version. The boxset comes with a mini artbook and pins.
The first Langrisser was about nature losing its balance with evil rising and only a prince on the run who wield the holy Langrisser sword could save his world. The second part then focused on the descendant of Light , standing up against the evil emperor and who tried to resurrect evil from chaos. I simply love the character design and the gameplay especially the addition anime short video clips on PS version.
