Command Gundam BB Legend

A loose Super-Deformed (SD) Command Gundam BB Legend received from a friend ✌🏻… No other accessory besides what you see but still very photogenic… It’s pretty heavy with chogokin material… The Command Gundam is designed for rugged terrain and earth-based missions, equipped with heavy armor and a variety of weapons… I believe the missing armaments are the rifle, dagger and handgun… Have also brought another SD Gundam BB Senshi for photo taking… Thank you my other friend for the nicely built SD Knight Gundam BB Legend model kit…

SD Gundam Next 23 G-Self Gundam Gashapon

Gashapon Senshi NEXT, the next level in SD Gundam proportion, action, and coloring, hits its 23rd release. This "G-Self" from Gundam Reconguista in G is a gift from my. He is so excited to tell me that he got this Gundam the first spin during his Japan trip last year. Is he lucky or am I lucky. I think both of us are lucky.

SD Gundam Sangoku Soketsuden Liu Bei Unicorn Gundam

From the SD Sangoku Soketsuden series comes the Liu Bei Unicorn Gundam, a member of Dragon's Watch. He along with his allies Guan Yu Nu Gundam and Zhang Fei God Gundam set out to save the world plague with Yellow Zombie Virus. In this story, Liu Bei is the member of the Dragon's Watch, a vigilante group in the Shu region.

This model comes with the red Dragon Memory and its weapon can combine with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. When assembled, it's stands about 9cm in height. Can really tell that Unicorn Gundam is the current emphasis with the 1/1 scale statue standing tall at Diver City (Odaiba). Perhaps Unicorn Gundam would one day supersede the RX-78-2.

If you have noticed, Bandai has increase the amount of effect parts and reduced the number of foil stickers to this SD toyline.

SD Gundam Sangoku Soketsuden Guan Yu Nu Gundam

Well, it hasn’t been quite a well I last touch Gunpla. Let's return with baby steps starting with SD Gundam Sangoku. SD Gundam World Sangoku Soketsuden is a media project made to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Gundam. Thank Leon (Open the Toy) for the Guan Yu Nu Gundam model kit to begin a new era of SD Gundam Three Kingdoms. If you noticed, Bandai has increase the amount of effect parts and reducing number of foil stickers to this new kit. The design is also less Super Deform looking, giving Guan Yu a more serious appearance. Do you prefer the new version (left) or the old version of Guan Yu Gundam?

 

BB Gundam Shin Kuogai Gouf (真黃蓋老虎)

I know SDガンダム三国伝 Brave Battle Warriors is rather past seasoned nonetheless let's celebrate the 10th anniversary of BB Senshi Sangokuden by posting this kit. My passion for Gundam and three kingdoms lives forever. Released by Bandai in late January, 2011 the kit stand approximately 10 cm in height. SD Sangokuden is an adaptation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms in a more childish way and it has quite follow the true story in general. The SD hero Gundams and their fellow MS antagonists look pretty good all kitted out in Chinese Opera costume, and the choice of MS for the various characters are pretty good. 

Kougai is based on a military general, Huang Gai who served under the warlord Sun Quan aka Sonken Jr. He is a veteran and play the most significant role during the 'Battle of Red Cliffs' against Cao Cao's (aka Sousou) forces as he pretend to surrender to Sousou and then ramming Sousou fleets with his ship engulfed with fire, only to ignite them with oil, damaging Sousou's fleet before escaping into the river. 

Kuogai in Sangokuden takes on the primary mecha design Zeon's Gouf. He wields a Metal Spike Whip and a Tiger Claw Shield. The Metal Spike Whip can be bended with segments joined by ball-joints and when straighten, it serves as an Iron Rod. Tiger is closely associated to the Sun Family therefore it's natural that Kuogai adopted the animal design on his Tiger Claw Shield. Beside the simple assembling, general spraying and hand painted chrome put this adorable mono-eye in spotlight!

BB Senshi Sangokuden Anime Version Shin Taishi Ci Series 025

A recollection of BB Senshi Sangokuden that I had built for mono-eye event some time ago and finally a chance for this toy to have its own post. A stylized version of the Dom with the bazooka reshaped to a massive club as a character in the 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms' Gundam adaptation, Brave Battle Warriors. A general of the later Han Dynasty, loyal to Sun family under Wu banner, Taishi Ci has been praised for his bravery and courage, especially during his dual with Sun Ce. 

His choice of weapon is a pair of twin rods which in 'Dynasty Warriors' is illustrated as a pair of huge maces. This kit only come with one mace though which maybe indicate that I should buy another set just to make a pair. The kit is 90% sprayed and painted by me with red parts on shoulders and chest applied with stickers. I have used a special translucent round convex sticker for the mono-eye so to make it stands out. The weapon had been dry brushed for the metallic look. The colour scheme of this kit looks great and I'm really thrilled by those heavy armoured plates on the upper torso and grand helmet.
