Got these as a gift from a friend who visited Hong Kong. Mini Figures Building Blocks Compatible With LEGO with Gundam Mobile Suit theme. Clearly you can see Gundam RX-78-2, Gundam Ground Type (08th MS), Gundam Mk II and Gundam FB01. Though you can see quality flaws on the moulding and fading paint works, I won't ask for more from unlicensed product.
I could have put more effort to touch up the figures by trimming off the excess parts and adding panel lines. By the way, the figures only come with base and shield as such I added random weapons from my kiddos' armoury and to my surprise the bazooka goes extremely well with the OYW Gundam : )
The infamous God-Of-War general in 'Romance of the Three Kingdom' some time in the late Han era comes in many forms and one of which in this adorable form. Taking a appearance of Lu Bu featured in the CCTV anime, M-Fig released this Lu Bu Figure which IMHO looks like a crossover between LEGO and PlayMobil. Adding more play value to the toy is the Lunar Crescent Halbert and Red Hare. Lu Bu can ride on his fast & furious Red Hare and when fixed to the hexagon base, Red Hare can stand on two legs for a more gungho pose.
Lu Bu figure has head gear, long hair and an expression of piss-off Lu Bu ready to engage his enemies, in a cute way. The pole of Lunar Crescent Halbert is blue which I find a bit weird, nonetheless custom paint can be easily done if I want to. Lunar Crescent Halbert is made of softer material so you see it swopped a little. Still, its pretty fun that Lunar Crescent Halbert can be swapped between hands or be held by both hands.
X'mas presents thx to my toy collector buddies Stanley and Kenny!
Good thing the aircraft carrier flight deck mat I had ordered, came in time for this photoshoot.
Because of the huge size, I can't really find a suitable diorama background for photoshoot.
Accessories like a ladder, mini figure Poe, BB-8, random Resistance pilot, mechanic and hangar loader vehicle.
Turn the knot - Technics mechanism inside to open up the wings into "X" shape
Close wings
"X" shape
Front landing gear is foldable
I'm in quite the Star Wars festive mood this Christmas here are my Star Wars presents received (die-cast Luke in pilot suit and Poe's X-Wing Fighter Lepin - LEGO Knockoff), thx to my toy collector buddies Stanley and Kenny! I'm going to focus more on Poe's X-Wing Fighter LEGO Knockoff this post though. Phew...tough mission and we made it as a family!!!! Was it 4 hours of fixing on Christmas Day? Wifee was suggesting to just fix the toughest BB-8 aaaay ... she stepped in anyway when we got a bit tired with the building blocks.
Though this is a knock off set, the bricks quality is pretty good and fairly compatible to the original, but not for those mini figures. Well, I do have complaints such as 2 parts of wrong bricks and wrong colour. Poe's X-wing set has issue with the cockpit cover where it cannot be closed tightly. That's why knockoff can never beat the original, except the price. Lolz..
The completed plane has an astonishing size of over 30 cm in length. I wasn't expecting the size to be this big and I sure like big toys! Because of the size, I can't really find a suitable diorama background for photoshoot. Good thing the aircraft carrier flight deck mat I had ordered, came in time for this photoshoot.
It's accompanied by other accessories like a ladder, mini figure Poe, BB-8, random Resistance pilot, mechanic and hangar loader vehicle. The toy comes with interesting gimmick like the Technics mechanism inside to open up the wings into "X" shape, the front landing gear is foldable and there are clear red laser effect parts that shoot out from spring mechanism.
These credits definitely go to the creativity of LEGO team. I'm sure serious LEGO fans / collectors would go for the original for a better and higher quality building experiences. I happy even with this knockoff and its fun playing it.
I'm not too sure when my boyz started the LEGO Humans craze, only to know that they first used LEGO figurines duting their imaginary plays, something to do with zombie attack at town. Perhaps, they had watched too much of 'Walking Dead'. Wifee's friends got to know the boyz' recent interests, as such bought them this year's edition of LEGO CiTY Humans. Wifee was especially fascinated by the baby in pram and merry-go-round. I find this diversification and integration of community, a true reflection of daily lifestyle and society.
