Quiccs × Punk Drunkers (PDS) Bancho Aitsu TEQ63 Kabuki

A striking color variant of my all-time favorite Quiccs × Punk Drunkers (PDS) Bancho Aitsu TEQ63, reimagined through the dramatic lens of Kabuki 👺. Presented in both standing and squatting poses, this release perfectly fuses Quiccs’ signature TEQ63 character with Punk Drunkers’ iconic “Aitsu” design language. The Kabuki influence is unmistakable. Rooted in a term once used to describe eccentric young samurai—“being weird” or “offbeat”—Kabuki aesthetics align seamlessly with Oyakata-san’s philosophy of “Uncool is Cool.” The bold Kumadori face paint features intense red eyeshadow symbolizing strength and passion, contrasted with black lips representing fear and malevolence, a look often associated with villains and demons. Clad in a vivid red Bancho-style outfit, the figure channels the rebellious spirit of 20th-century Japanese juvenile delinquent leaders, blending retro street fashion with theatrical menace. Subtle details elevate the piece further, from the PDS insignia printed on the back of the jacket to the oversized version’s weapon, clearly inspired by Space Adventure Cobra’s iconic Psychogun 💥. Rounding it all off is a personal Quiccs trademark—the ever-classic Adidas Superstar sneakers 👟, grounding the wild Kabuki theatrics with streetwear authenticity. A perfect collision of art toy culture, Japanese subculture, and unapologetic attitude.

Momoco Great King Shark Robot

Great King Shark Robot is a 7-inch mecha sofubi produced by Momoco Studio in collaboration with Merry Go Round (MGR). The figure sports a striking blue, white, and yellow color scheme, built around a bold shark motif. A standout detail is the forehead fin, cleverly designed in the shape of a ship’s anchor, reinforcing its nautical identity. The overall design hits all the right notes for fans of classic Japanese Brave Robot (Yūsha) series—chunky proportions, heroic silhouette, and playful yet powerful detailing. It carries that unmistakable super robot charm, blending animal mecha elements with a clean, toy-forward aesthetic that feels both nostalgic and fresh. A perfect fit for your taste, especially if you gravitate toward bold, character-driven robots with strong 90s anime vibes. 🦈🤖.

Garbage Toyyyyy × Punk Drunkers Samenchu

Garbage Toyyyyy × Punk Drunkers Samenchu is easily one of the most unhinged collaborations out there—where uncool meets garbage, and the ocean collides with land. Released as a lottery item at Amazing Toy Show Hong Kong 2025, this piece throws logic out the window. A deformed shark 🦈 wielding a fox 🦊 buster? Pure chaos, pure Punk Drunkers energy. At first glance, I assumed it was the same size as the regular Samenchu, but it’s noticeably smaller than expected—adding to its oddball charm. The sculpt is wild yet strangely adorable, and the header card seals the deal with a cheeky catchphrase: “Shake hand with Fux.” Absurd, playful, and unmistakably collectible.

BJJ Rider Man Version 2.0

BJJ Rider Man 🔴💎🔴 Version 2.0 is a striking sofubi collaboration between Kaiju One and BJJ Art, paying homage to classic tokusatsu heroes—most notably Riderman from Kamen Rider V3. The figure channels a nostalgic Showa-era aesthetic through its bold blue, red, and yellow color scheme, complemented by metallic silver boots and gloves that instantly evoke the look of vintage Kamen Rider suits. This version 2.0 release introduces enhanced play and display options, featuring two interchangeable crystal ornament helmets that allow for alternate silhouettes. Helmet is removable to reveal BJJ artist - Beck Jae Jung. A standout accessory is the blue arm attachment fitted with a red drill tip, reinforcing Riderman’s iconic mechanical arm influence while adding a kaiju-toy twist. With its glossy sofubi finish, chunky proportions, and retro-futuristic detailing, BJJ Rider Man 2.0 successfully bridges old-school Kamen Rider nostalgia and modern art-toy sensibilities, making it a standout piece for tokusatsu fans and sofubi collectors alike.

Luke Smell Good RJ-69 Gundam Inspired (Black)

If you think Gundam?! Think again … Luke Smell Good RJ-69 in a striking black, silver, and red colorway — a clear homage to classic Gundam aesthetics. The chunky proportions, squared limbs, and mechanical detailing give it that unmistakable retro mecha vibe, amplified by the glossy sofubi finish. The yellow eyes pop sharply against the dark helmet, while the red accents and star emblem add a bold, almost militaristic contrast. But look closer and the humor reveals itself. The back of the head and spray gun are unapologetically sculpted into a dickhead shape, and the torso logo follows suit with another cheeky phallic motif — classic Luke Smell Good irreverence sneaking beneath an otherwise serious robot silhouette. From the front it reads like a noble super robot; from the back, it’s pure lowbrow satire 😂. A perfect blend of homage and subversion — equal parts Gundam tribute, street-art humor, and designer toy mischief.

JPX × Realhead Sumo series Bakenofuji (Red)

Eat more and grow like me ❤️🧡 This JPX × Realhead Sumo series Bakenofuji perfectly fuses classic Japanese sumo iconography with Realhead’s unmistakable kaiju-punk attitude. The figures radiate a playful yet intimidating charm—chunky, squat bodies with exaggerated proportions that feel both comical and powerful, a hallmark of Realhead’s signature style. The standout detail is the visor-style helmet, a recurring Realhead motif that injects a futuristic, tokusatsu-meets-cyber edge. The metallic visor paint contrasts beautifully against the glossy vinyl bodies, adding depth and a sense of armored authority—like sumo warriors battling it out in a dystopian arena. Small and big, cute and menacing—Bakenofuji delivers maximum presence at any scale.

Headlock Studio Lil’ Franky Series 3 (Green)

My first blind box pull of 2026 comes from Headlock Studio’s Kustom Monster World – Series 3, and the luck was absolutely on my side. I was hoping for Lil’ Franky and fate delivered. This adorable take on the classic Frankenstein monster features a lime-green complexion, stitched forehead, bolt neck, and that wide, mischievous grin—perfectly balanced between spooky and playful. Dressed down in a casual grey sweater, blue jeans, and sneakers, Lil’ Franky feels modern yet unmistakably monstrous. What makes this pull even sweeter is its rarity—only two Lil’ Franky figures exist in this entire series. Truly grateful and blessed to have landed one on my very first blind box attempt of the year. A strong start to 2026 for sure 🧟‍♂️

Linden’s Macross x Robita

Linden’s Macross x Robita = MacRobita sofubi from design works of 手塚治虫 (Osamu Tezuka). Tezuka, widely revered as the godfather of manga, needs little introduction—his influence spans generations, with iconic creations such as Astro Boy, Black Jack etc. This licensed version, ©1982 Big West and ©Tezuka Productions, was released exclusively during Macross: The Art 1982-2018" exhibition exclusive. The exhibition was held at Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum. The design cleverly adopts Roy Focker’s VF-1S Valkyrie colorway, complete with a bold Skull Squadron insignia on the chest, blending Tezuka’s mythic universe with Macross’ iconic military aesthetics. The form is strikingly minimalist—its cylindrical body and rounded helmet-like head give it an almost utilitarian silhouette. At a glance, it amusingly resembles an insecticide spray can or a small trash bin, which only adds to its quirky charm. The simplicity of the sculpt allows the concept and crossover references to shine rather than overwhelm. Because of this clean, graphic presentation, I’ve chosen to keep it unopened—the figure feels most complete displayed with its original card header, where the bold yellow Tezuka branding and retro typography elevate it into a proper art object rather than just a standalone toy. A subtle yet clever crossover piece that rewards fans of Tezuka, Macross, and sofubi culture, proving that sometimes restraint in design speaks louder than complexity.

RealxHead (RxH) – Adult Hone Borg (Blank / Unpainted)

An unpainted blank version of the Adult Hone Borg, showcasing the raw sculpt that RealxHead is known for. The figure features a distinctly insectoid silhouette—bulbous compound-style eyes, a ribbed, sinewy torso, and heavy clawed hands that feel both organic and armored. The addition of a fabric scarf adds a subtle ronin-like touch, contrasting nicely with the brutal bio-mechanical form. In this blank state, the sculpted textures truly stand out: layered musculature, wrinkled surfaces, and industrial detailing on the forearms and claws. The glossy black vinyl emphasizes the character’s ominous presence while leaving the piece open-ended—perfect as a pure sculpt appreciation piece or a future custom canvas. A classic RxH design that feels menacing, minimal, and timeless, especially appreciated in its raw, unpainted form.

Knave X Punk Drunkers Kataki (Red)

The Knave X Punk Drunkers Kataki Knave X feels like a collision between classic villain archetypes and futuristic menace. Part Captain Hook 🪝 with its iconic hook hand and eye-patch silhouette, yet unmistakably a hardened cyborg encased in gleaming armor, it strikes a perfect balance between old-school mischief and cold mechanical brutality. The bold red ❤️ and silver 🩶 colorway recalls armor forged in fire 🔥—bright, aggressive, and unapologetically powerful. That unsettling grin hints at chaos and cruelty, equal parts playful and threatening. One sinister red eye stares back with malice, while the opposing cybernetic lens scans and locks on, radiating pure Terminator T-800 energy. Paired with a heavy-duty gauntlet 🦾, the figure channels retro villain charm fused with ruthless, machine-like precision—an absolute standout that feels both nostalgic and dangerously futuristic.
