Long-time fan of Quiccs and the recent showcase of the massive 2-feet Storm King Machine 🤍🖤 really made me revisit one of my most treasured pieces in the collection.
This 1/144 scale Quiccs x Hidden Fortress is one of the early 2013 resin runs that hits differently in hindsight. A bold fusion of Jumbo Machinder Gaiking influences with Stormtrooper aesthetics and reimagined through Quiccs’ unmistakable street-infused design language. It’s equal parts nostalgia and future-tech, distilled into a compact but commanding form.
Still one of those pieces that reminds me why I started art toy collecting in the first place. The moment when mecha heritage meets contemporary toy art in the most unexpected ways. The king is back‼️
