Let’s Volt In! ⚡️Got this figure from one of the shops at Mega Plaza… I was told it’s a reproduction of the vintage Popy sofubi… A nice 6.5” mecha figure in my opinion… Voltes V is one of the most popular mecha for sofubi toy collectors. Voltes V is the second installment of Toei’s robot romance trilogy, which includes Combattler V and Tōshō Daimos. The anime was released in 1977 and ran until 1978. It is highly popular in Philippines. The most popular vintage toy manufacturer who made Voltes V sofubi was Popy. Many of their Voltes V sofubi fetches high prices today. The reproduction is a good alternative for casual collector like me.
