Wifey got me a Momoco Studio x Mr Joe Hobby Hippo 🦛 乔老二 ~ 河馬喬 Evangelion colorway during my birthday last year and I’m excited to find this OG Mark-I listed on Carousell recently… The desire for this hard-to-come-by collectible grew stronger especially having watched the making of this sofubi from sculpt to the 3D designed mechanical arm 🦾, paint application until packaging on Mr Joe Hobby YouTube channel… Hippo reflects the tenacious of Mr Joe Hobby as this mammal is often underrated as a ferocious and strong in the animal kingdom. Why is the hippo only in underwear 🩲? Probably inspired by Ricardo Milos, a Brazilian model who went viral some years ago (2018 -2019) for his spicy dance video in brief. Was not able to get the Mark-I during its release and certainly thrilled to own it after 2 years hiatus… Hopefully, I’m able to get the Gundam edition too in future. Hungry hungry hippo!
