We all know that Banpresto is renown in giving birth to anything novelty and adorable that you would just have them laying around your work desk or some corners in your room. Here I have is this 10cm PVC and ABS Petit Char Aznable from 'Gundam One Year War'. This figure was released in association of 'Full Frontal' being a clone of Char in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. It was launched as a Ichiban Kuji prize ranked 'K' (Rank 'K' seems pretty low like a consolation price) with other characters like 'Full Frontal' and even arch enemy 'Amuro Ray'.
Being petit made Char so lovable, unlike his usual scheming and sense of betrayal. I really like the enlarged head/helmet and the mask. The cheeky face of baby Char and tiny body gesturing that he's pointing somewhere or something. The weight of the head makes the figure unable to balance, so it had to be attached to a rod and onto a stand base. Instead of red, the base has a lot of pink and bears the insignia of the Red Comet. There are some Japanese words printed which I didn't understand.
