Yui Kotegawa is the anime girl next door you would take a second look and hopefully sitting beside her in class if you are still schooling. I hereby Yui Kotegawa as my favourite girl in the anime 'To-Love Ru' with that dumbfounded appearance. Kind of like her for the wrong reason LOL.. To-Love Ru is hands down one of my favorite ecchi harem genre anime.
Here's a 1/8 (17cm) pre-painted prize figure by JAMMA. It's an alternative of Yui figure in her school uniform if you don't want to shell out the cash, unless you prefer a more anime faithful presentation of Yui by Orchid Seed. Yui Kotegawa is a support cast of To Love-Ru who is in Rito's class during the second year. Like other casts in the anime, Rito's usual array of tantalizing perversity due to his pathetic ally chaste ineptitude mishaps fall upon her ^_^ and she would shout "Shameless".
JAMMA version of Yui is said to be less anime correct as this figure has a more naval bluish hair and was given a more cheerful facial expression. The seam lines on the figure's hair and shoulders are pretty distingushed. Overall figure is proportional and balance-well on the white rounded base. No doubt there are minor paint flaw here or there, but on the whole this is a nice figure.

Those are what you can expect from ecchi anime. Lol...
sometimes i wonder if this kind of anime series is a sort of "exhaust valve" for the kinda demure sex life of the japanese people (and i don’t mean to be libertine, LOL)...
the figure, on the other hand, well, either is anime accurate or not, i think it’s nice, the flaws are not noticeable and she seems to me candid, instead of vulgar... some manufacturers of statues related with this genre, are plainly obscene and that’s not necessarily what collectors like us search for... =)

Watching anime is my favorite past time, not too old to watch.. Lol.. So naturally I venture into ecchi and mature genre. Man! They become part of my life ^_^ Some of the horny jokes of To-Love-Ru are really hilarious and arousing at times and every season kind of get bolder each time.
didn't watch this yet but overall the figure looks nice with complete review by yours :D
