Fate/Zero Gilgamesh Ichiban Kuji Premium C Figure

Fate/Zero is one knockout prequel after Fate/Stay Night, so good that the storyline and fight scenes took anime standard to a next level. The tragic of individual characters casted strong deep impression and flashback of the anime. The recent Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works, seems to me at first like a remake of first Fate/Stay Night, but apparently with some changes whereby plot of the episodes is primarily based on the Unlimited Blade Works storyline in the Fate/stay night visual novel.

Nonetheless, subjects and projects related to Saber aroused my interests. My favourite villain would surely be Gilgamesh! He doesn't just come in silver armour but golden armour, certainly not the servant hero summon for salvation but chaos... In Fate/Zero, Gilgamesh came as an archer class hero which in my opinion totally outclass other heroes having the aerial advantage and unlimited Noble Phantasms and treasures from the gate of Babylon. So overkill and badass that I kind of like his royalty arrogance and stylish medieval outlook.

I immediately convinced myself this Fate/Zero Gilgamesh Ichiban Kuji Premium C figure is a must have the very moment I saw it during the Tokyo Otaku trip. I didn't go through the hassle of trying my luck but paying more to procure it. Manufactured by Banpresto and beautifully sculpted by Toitekku and Vortex, this PVC figure stood @ an awesome display height of 22cm (approximately 8" - 9"). Came with a black stand with white contrast magus summon signs and the word 'Archer'. Maybe its the humid climate of Singapore that mercilessly caused the gold paint to fade off a little. Still Gilgamesh is as looking good whenever I took a glimpse of Gilgamesh pointing his weapon (Ra).

very impressive figure and if not for your marginal note about the fading of the golden tones in the armor, this detail would go unnoticed... as you rightly pointed, the sculpt and paint job are marvelous and clean, the face sculpt is particularly stupendous... the character itself remains unknown for me, since i have not seen any of the Fate anime series made so far, but looks handsome and defiant, nice work also on the base and the size is more than decent... another awesome haul, pal !!!... =)

Yeah! The figure is impressive, one of the best Gilgamesh figures released so far. So well sculpt that the handsome and cocky look of the character says it all. You are really miss out if you watch this anime. This prequel is actually more stunning that the sequel. Total me by emotion that it remains a significant in my heart. I will not hesitate to recommend this anime to any of my friend.
