1/3 scale M733 Rifle Model Kit

Big Ben is like benefactor to me, introducing me to my current job. I see my job now like a bridge crew of 'White Base' with Legendary Guy 'A' as my captain. Guy 'A' like being referred as 'Bright Noa'. Lol... Anyway, enough of my crap so lets get straight to the topic.

Basically, Big Ben had recently bought and assembled this 1/3 scale M733 rifle and this gives me the opportunity to at least return a favor to him by doing some touch-up to the kit. All I did was to file off the excess sprues, and then sprayed the rifle.

From the look of the rifle, it kind of fall under the family of M16 rifle. I did so research online to know that his weapon was used by the U.S Marines in the movie 'Black Hawk Down'. The model kit is production of 'Trumpeter', comes in 40 plastic parts that make up the rifle as well as the display rack.

Anyway, this is my first time handling model kit of this type and it's a great experience. I hope Big Ben will nice the finished product and I bet his next kit would be HKMP5. Big Ben is a collector of 12" Police figurines mainly produced by 'Dragon' and he likes almost anything related to law-enforcement agents.

It's about 25 Singapore dollars. I happened to sell someone selling it at fleamarket the other day. I'm not into guns either. I'm more of a mecha guy.

Hahaha,it's cheap...
but it follows on what we likes...
I too love Mecha rather than collecting Guns...
Except for BB Gun...

sorry to disagree with you, but i do like guns, specially the modern and/or futuristic guns... this one looks like an M4A1 carbine as well (a lighter version of the M16)... it’s a really simple & nice work Dennis & the display rack makes it look even better... i like mechas but what’s a mecha without guns ??? oh yes, they can b servants too XDDDDD

I got your point there pal. Guns and mecha compliment one another. There's beautiful in weapons of our time. It's just that I don't keep them in toy collection apart from those that come with the mechas. I post this cos I know there are people out there like Big Ben, you and many many others who appreciate the beauty of guns. This post is dedicated to you guys and last but not least, thank you for the compliments.

It looks great there bro. Did u paint it?

I merely spray the rifle with a coat of black paint and matt lacquer on the display rack. Actually, I think the display rack would look better if it's also sprayed black.

interesting as not sure that would would here in the US. Most of the people I think would rather have the real thing to go 'hunting' with - lol.

Seems impressive though next to that Gundam

Firearm regulation is so strict in my country no civilian can carry firearms. Even air rifle ain't allow for individual possession unless authorized. This type of model kit and Nerf are the closest we can get.

My country too is strict...
Even the Airgun can't be posses by anyone in my country...

I think it's very good in the sense that the country will be safe from threats and fear related to breach of firearm law.
