Being the main character of Capcom’s leading fighting game series ‘Street Fighter’, Ryu is one big name that many would know of. By popular demand, Sota had delighted SF fans in year 2004 by releasing this action figure of Ryu in their 1st round of SF action figures. I would say this was the best sculpt, well articulated 8” Ryu action figure of that time. Comes with interchangeable head and hands and also KTD bag.

Haha man Ryu looks great in this form :D Very very muscular sculpt..(stares at my flabby arms...)envious!!! I love his back pack picture! Its like him starting on a long journey to improve his fighting skills ^^
How much did you get your Ryu for by the way?
kjakajkajkajkajkaja... well, when i play Marvel vs Street Fighter, & i usually play with Juggernaut, Ryu can’t stand my demolition skills, so... K.O. who is next ??? LOL... in spite of its recent manufacture, it looks vintage compared with the Kaiyodo Revoltech version, but doubtless this one has its own charm... long life to the queen V-A-R-I-E-T-Y !!!
This Sota series looks better. The overall body shape is proportionate. Not like the recent one in the market. The legs are damn big. I guess no choice, they follow just like the video game version. Anyway, are you getting the whole figure series of this one??
Hadoken Spam!!!, Im more of an Akuma fan^^, and that some nice muscle sculpt.
hey i like those outdoor shots. YOu took them alone?
That guy is cut, remember seeing these in the shops. Always looked like a good scuplt and articulation.

I'm thinking on that line when I took the pics. I bought this Ryu for around twenty dollars.

I played Marvel vs Street Fighter on arcade in the past too. I used Ironman and Ryu if I remember correctly.

I didn't the figure for Street Fighter IV too! That Ryu is kind of beastly and bulky. I prefer Ryu from SF 2 & SF Zero.

I have figure of Akuma too! Will blog about it soon!

I took those outdoor shots below my block. Didn't it alone and feels weird when passerby looked at me. Hee! Hee!

Indeed, this is a nice piece and valuable to Street Fighter fans.
