This is my second attempt on taking pics of 1/60 Chogokin DX VF-25S Ozma since there were a lot of error on the transformation previously. I hope there would be less mistakes on the transformation and hope to see a better pics taken this time round.
The design of the box is very simple with only pics of the toy printed. I would prefer the box having some anime artwork or having Ozma shown on the box. It is a good thing that the box didn’t come with plastic window so you don’t need to worry about UV lights getting into the box.
The packaging is very neat and the space inside the box is well utilised. Bandai definitely did a better job than Yamato by keeping the big toy inside a relatively small & slim box. The insert for the toy is made of non-biodegradable Styrofoam which is not very friendly to the environment. But I seriously think that it is much better than using cheap quality plastic tray that turned yellow before the toy does. If only the reissued 1/55 valkyries come with Styrofoam insert.
Personally, I think that VF-25 design is a blend of YF-19 and SV-51 whereby the valkyrie looks really awesome in fighter mode. From the front view of the VF-25, I noticed that the wings are slightly curled upwards.
Just like the 1/55 scale valkyries, VF-25 has solid metal landing gears and metal die-cast lower legs. There is no need for any stickers’ application since the decals were already imprinted on the toy. Don’t you think the goat skull printed on the back of VF-25S impressive?
There is certain difficulties transforming the toy to battroid mode and the Japanese instructions manual ain’t very helpful. I very much refer to the pics on the instructions manual and ‘agaration’ (guessing). Well, you will feel good quality plastic during the transforming process.

I like the decal and chogokin should be heavy. Solid!
Best part is that there's no need to paste any stickers. The metal composite are the landing gears and at the leg area. Not as heavy compared to Gaiking in think.
I just noticed that its stomach is bit more bulkier than the plamo ver.
I guess usually toy are more bulky and less articulate in order to better it more sturdy & playable.

Dennis, your pictures are getting better and better. What did you do to the lighting? So nice!! The angles are great and images are sharp..Teach me man!!
I didn't have any light tent. I'm taking shots in digital macro mode plus increase the light exposure. I make sure there is ample lightings so taking pics in the day and in my living room. I use white board as background. I did so photo editing on Iphoto, Photoshop & Photostudio as well.
