1/100 scale VB-6 Konig Monster

One thing I respect about Yamato is their dedication in making new Macross toys. Ever since Yamato started making Macross toys, fans of Macross have been spoiled for choice. I recalled being so thrill when I heard news about Yamato making a 1/100 scale VB-6 Konig Monster and seeing the prototype on Internet. Yamato had indeed feel for Macross fans and had answered our prayers. This will be documented in Macross toy line history.

The box of 1/100 scale VB-6 Konig Monster is of the same size as any 1/48 scale valkyrie with flap-open front cover that allows viewing the actual toy on plastic insert. The colour of the toy is mainly in dark-tone green and orange, so there isn’t much to worry about yellowing.

No complaints with the plastic quality but the arm joints are rather loose. I like the size of this toy as Konig Monster is manned to be a giant mech. In my opinion, Yamato had done to great job and hopefully the Ranka’s Attack version of Konig Monster would be released in near future.

I like this figure. This seems is similar to the old Macross alien robot. That was in red and blue iirc..

Yes. This is like a Mark II of Destroid Monster. Similar to the one you saw in the original Macross Super Dimension Fortress and Macross DYRL.

What a great figure u have there. This HK trip quite dissapointed coz i can't find most of the item i want. Just get myself a Bandai 1/55 VF-1S at HKD350.

Hey! HKD350 for a 1/55 VF-1S is really worth it. Around S$68/-. Good buy bro!

That's really one huge monster you have there. Thanks for sharing.

I saw it personally at a local toy convention here in Kuching last year, in Fighter mode sealed in a glass casing, so no up close view, but the size is just plain awesome.
