Having taken notice of this Banpresto, Dragon Ball toy line for a while and have been thrilled by fan sculpt having a lot other side characters close to the anime. In a special figure release from the coveted SCultures figure line from Banpresto, the winner of the sixth Dragon Ball series SCultures competition, Mr. Ito, brings out his sharp, stylized design of the Prince of All Saiyans, Vegeta, in celebration of the new Dragon Ball Super series! This powered up Vegeta 17cm figure amazingly captures the "Bad Man" of Dragon Ball Super standing proud, confident and ready for action.
I feel that the paint job and sculpt from feet right to neck are amazing with defined muscle and stretch marks on the tight Saiyan suit shown. The colour shadings are also obvious on the suit. My complaints are the unpainted face and gloss Super Saiyan hair. The head seems gloss while the body is matte. I also don't understand why the silver paints are added to the hair. Moreover, the base stand for the figure is kind of oversized. It's cool budget figure in overall and

Actually some of those items from Banpresto is really good and excellent value of money. Perhaps sometimes they were overlooked by other premium products but some of them are seriously brilliant and a must have, considering their decent price. This guy Vegeta, I think he is a non-practicing vegetarian, in other word a vegetarian who can eat pork once a while if he feel like it...
Dragon Ball is definitely Banpresto's biggest money maker. My Workplace had plenty of these and with Banpresto you can get a Figure with decent quality and size for a an affordable price. Recently i dispatched some Grandista Son Gokou to my company's client and cant believe that kind of figure quality only cost 20 SGD
Banpresto offers clearly good value for money and every single figure you have published belonging to this line is hard evidence in that sense... I think the iridescent finishing of Vegeta’s hair is the way they want to differentiate this evolution of the prince of Saiyans from previous versions, I don’t think he looks bad and actually I like this one more than the regular yellowish finishing, great sculpt and paint job too !!!... =D

Banpresto is quite up the mark these days and you are right we shouldn’t overlook them. They are proof that figurines can be made at not too much cost. So of the sculpt through DBZ competitions been adopted are seriously faithful which pushes the boundaries of DBZ figures!

Once again I’m envious of your job where you are constantly surrounded by toys! Especially DBZ ones! Looks like prize figures is still going strong and we would be having more waves of charming DBZ figures. Lately, I’m also fond of those Banpresto figures that modelers added touch-ups to them. It made these mass production figures even more manga/anime looking which stands out more.

I can tell u like this over those previous version.. I have came across someone spraying Vegeta’s hair blue of this figure to look like Super God Saiyan which I think is quite the brilliance...

He's cool and I always like the why figures were painted close to how they supposed to look in anime.
