Linebarrels of Iron : Miu Kujou Figure (Kotobukiya)

To be the hero of justice, all you need is babe like Kujou Miu in oppai liner style as your comrade. Miu is undoubtedly my favourite character from the 'Linebarrels of Iron' anime, with that peachy look and voluptuous figure. The sweet voice of Miu was casted by Aya Hirano, who's also the voice actress of the hit anime character 'Haruhi Suzumiya'. Not only does she possesses beauty, Miu is also a "factor" of Special Task Force of JUDA and she piloted a pink mecha aka Machina equipped with throwing knives and two beam rifles on each arm.

She had a crushed on the male protagonist 'Kouichi Hayase' but like most side casts, they always miss the Cupid arrow. Sculpted by Naoki Nishimura, Kujyou Miu stands provocatively posed, leaning forward at the waist with her left arm held behind her back and her legs crossed. Her skin-tight clothing reveals her gorgeous figure. Pre-painted 1/8 scale PVC figure produced by Kotobukiya, standing approximately 7" (18cm) tall on round white display base.

Inflatable Gundam RX-78-2 Beam Saber and Shield

Thank you veri munchie to uncle Stanley this interesting gift, bought during his recent trip to Japan! Fun and adorable set of inflatable Gundam RX-78-2 beam saber and E.F.S.F Earth Federation Space Force shield. Excellent for melee attack and protection against Nerf bullets and water gun. Very light, easy to carry and float on water. The perfect toy designed for the boy, we even use the paper card Gundam head dress received during Gundam Expo 2015 and took some pics of our youngest son. The toy was produced by PLEX in 2015 with specs of 56cm shield and 66cm long beam saber. PLEX is also responsible for the released of Gundam RX-78-2 beam rifle type water gun with a high-powered beam of water from this cool Gundam Beam Rifle water gun! Measures 31cm long. Great for adding more Gundam theme at home and novelty!

CharaExpo 2015 Final Part - Cosplay, Mecha, GARO & Japanese Pro-Wrestling

OMG! This is my last post on CharaExpo and I'm still meeting beautiful promoters dressed in Yukata and this time @ Mameshiba (豆しば) is a Japanese merchandise franchise booth. Meet this nice promoter @ Pony Canyon booth who guided me on taking pic of 'Attack On Titan' Live action movie promotion area, post it on their Facebook link and get a mystery gift! Not only so, she had also posed for me in photo-taking.

Guess I'm lucky to have the anime director of GARO, Mr Yuichiro Hayashi san and voice cast of Anna Luis, Miss Eri Ozeki's autographs, on the free GARO plastic folder. I saw a fan of Miss Eri Ozeki came with her poster to have her autograph. Miss Eri Ozeki's autograph with the heart shape.

The first CharaExpo over the weekends had been very successful with turnout crowd better than expected with a record of fourteen thousands. I hope this mid year extravaganza would come again next year for more fun and cutting edge entertainment.

This is so unconventional! My first time seeing wrestling ring at convention and what do you know? They are Japanese Pro-Wrestling.. New Japan Pro-wrestling King of Sports - NJW WORLD exhibition tour. Does it remind you of the anime Kinnikuman Galactic Wrestling? Unfortunately, I only had the time for the pre-show interview and couldn't get a ringside ticket to stay behind for the match. I'm sure it would an awesome experience, interactive and up-close. Now, I so looking forward to watch WWE show come 2nd July 2015...

CharaExpo 2015 Part 2 - Exhibits

Second part of CharaExpo 2015 will channel your attention to the exhibits @ the event. Therefore this post will rely heavily on pics over words. Most of the exhibits were gal power overwhelming manly garung heroes. Not to worry as my next blog will for the macho peeps!

Kantai Collection somehow popular lately. In fact, many had been talking about it even before the anime was announced. Shimakaze was like a mascot even though she just briefly appeared in the anime. Figma Shimakaze and Rensouhou-chan, ready for deployment!Don't you loved the flexibility and articulation of Figma, which allows various poses to be taken
I like the concept of gals with turrets that is somehow similar of mecha gals. Just that the anime didn't quite enticed me.

In the past, most of the happening events were launched near to the end of the year. This is the first time CharaExpo came mid year which is great as we all could connect our shelves to this otaku-ness without having to wait sooo long. With other events of close proximity this June / July, the period of festives mood is in the air.
