Dragon Ball Z Tien Shinhan Figure (Jakks Pacific)

Trademark for his third eye and thick eyebrows, Tien Shinhan would be considered the strongest among the human race Z Fighter in the anime 'Dragonball Z. There isn't many figures produced on him hence he's pretty high in demand, trust me. Heeheee.... Apart of this made by Jakks Pacific under Z Trilogy series 1 the other that caught my attention would the HSCF series by Bandai. This however stands out for its articulation, mainly on the arms. The shoulders and elbows are ball joints and wrists can turned 360. Not so much articulation on the legs with thighs going forth and back. The kneel joints can bend slight and more rotation on the ankles.

The head sculpt is considerably good in my opinion, taking into considerable that the figure was released year 2005 and it resembles the Tien well in the anime with a more serious expression. The muscle sculpt is well defined and proportional, just that the colour tone differed at some areas. It's a pretty amazing figure, one of my most treasured and definitely quite hard to come by these days. My version is the one Tien has his white singlet put on and there is another version with his bare body. Mine kind of had yellowing on the white area. Maybe, I should spend a little time spraying the white portion.

Anime Festival Asia Singapore AFA 2014 - Finale

There's a wrap-up of AFA Singapore with all remaining pics taken. This post will focus more on the activities happening. Fans who know Japanese or had memorized the lyric, enjoying karaoke Asia Anisong singer audition. Many cheers from crowd at nico nico Kunikaigi stage performances. I loved the Vegeta Saiyan suit worn by the host. Sony Playstation booth celebrating 20th anniversary with new and old game exhibited. Lotz of nostalgias at Playstation booth allowing free play of iconic games, I grew up playing with.

Tohoku Shinsha booth was promoting Garo upcoming anime plus those shining Garo on display. One interesting attraction is likely the 'Attack on Titans' aka 'Shingeki no Kyojin' area where visitors get a feel of balancing themselves at Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear training ground. Also, there was well setup booth promoting the anime 'Psycho Pass' with life size statue and visitors could try being an enforcer, have a grab of replica of the weapon 'Dominator'. I'm currently watching the season 2 of the anime and find the plot pretty intelligence.

Players had tested their gaming skill on anime characters' fighting game 'Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax' with audience enjoying the fight projected on big screen. Last but not least, a few random pics of cosplayers I bumped into.

1/100 MG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. One Year War 0079

RX-78-2 as it appeared in the PS2 "Mobile Suit Gundam: The One Year War" game

RX-78-2 is given a more modern design just that the colour scheme seems pale

Bought this kit for the purpose of customizing it with Akocreation GM garage kit so this is a review straight from snap fit. Master Grade version of the RX-78-2 as it appeared in the PS2 "Mobile Suit Gundam: The One Year War" game. There are more details on the plastic surface for panel lining. RX-78-2 is given a more modern design just that the colour scheme seems pale.

The catch of this kit is the superbly flexible inner frame (skeleton) over which allows the Gundam to bend and pose in just about any position you might imagine, especially those difficult kneeling poses. Due to the focus on articulation, the torso frame is different from the MG version 2.0, as such there isn't any core fighter.

The kit come with a full range of RX-78-2 weapons, Beam Rifle, Hyper Bazooka, Gundam Hammer, Two Beam Sabers, one uniquely bent beam saber. Also fine printed dry-transfer decals allow you to add exterior markings with precision. An unpainted pilot figure of Amuro Ray included as well.
