Otaku Hobby Shops @ Liang Court

Some of the leisures after work include as going to Liang Court (Just next building to my workplace) to have Japanese food. You can expect excellent restaurant service been greeted upon entering and leaving cos they are mostly dealing with Japanese expatriates patron here. At times, the restaurant also play anime songs and there was once I heard Macross 'Do U Remember Love' song while having my Tonkatsu Emu Rice. Feels like I'm back in Japan. Shiok!

Liang Court is known for its strong Japanese patrons base, well support by Japanese Meidi-Ya supermarket where they sell Japan stuff you don't see else where. This shopping mall recently has new addition like 'Uniqlo' Japanese designer's apparels and 'Hobby Atelier'. My favourite hangout place is definitely is Kinokuniya for manga related stuff and Gundam magazine. It's an excellent place to shop for gifts books too!

Adorable stuff especially if you are into 'Hello Kitty' can be found @ level 3, Rinko Ya and just beside is another hobby shop, Hobby Atelier, where they sell my favourite kind of toys. If you are looking for brain teaser toys, check out 'WonderWorks' @ level 2 where they sell LEGO where every is awesome ... of course other engineering toys. Workshop of robotics available too!

well, when i was reading your review on this matter, what caught my attention was the japanese food available there HEHE !!!... in my hometown there is no such thing like whole commercial buildings specialized in japanese stuff (anime/manga related), but the combination of hobby with food is totally unknown here... i wish it were part of the cultural offer of the japanese community in my country, there would be a lot of potential to know Japan from this point of view !!!... =D

We live to eat and good food sure give satisfaction. I will treat myself to yummy treat from time to time.. Hehe... Japanese often show their patriotism through patronage of product from their country. It's also their pursuit of quality stuff. Occasionally, Liang Court would have Japanese cultural show/activities or fair to make Japanese patrons feel at home.
