Tokyo International Anime Fair 2013 Part 1

Though it had been quite a while since my last Japan trip, I hope to document every pics and post about how I feel during this hard-to-come-by memorable trip! Part of our itinerary was to cover Tokyo International Fair 2013 that was held @ the magnificent Tokyo Big Scene! Even while we were at overseas, Agent S again displayed his resourcefulness by getting us the press passes! Couldn't help feeling more important wearing this pass roaming in the event.... Pardon my self-delusiveness. Ha! Ha!

As a matter of fact, I would say our AFA was not so inferior to event such as Tokyo International Fair. However, one thing for sure is that first hand information and release is definite at event from the country of origin. Take for example 'Valvrave - The Liberator', was total stranger to both Agent S and I when it was promoting at the fair till we knew about its popularity some time after our return.

'Tiger and Bunny' is certainly enjoyed its success for a low-budget anime screened during non primetime hours. Hatsune Miku and its merchandises in high demand and 'Space Battleship Yamato', making its grand comeback.

actually this event doesn’t seem so different to those you already covered in Singapore (as you said) or even to the few related events in my country... i guess is the effect of the "global village", a world interconnected virtually... however, the POP and exhibition displays are impressive and there are some interesting items from the old anime series... the couple of action figures from the Space Adventure Cobra stole all my attention !!! =OOOOO =)

Global Village is such suited words. For toy enthusiasts like us, we surely won't mind as long as someone bothers to organize event such as this. Always good to see classic anime been reintroduced again with up to date toy technology these days.
