Clash of the Titans Action Movie

Both Terence and I love watching movies related to ancient sword fight movie and so we would usually find time to catch movies like 'Clash of the Titans'. Concern this our buddy outing! One funny thing that happened today was both of us had not knowingly went into the wrong cinema and it was really embarrassed when someone told us they had taken their seats and that we were supposed to be at cinema 10 and not cinema 9. What a blunder! Ha! Ha!

About the movie: This is a remake of 'Clash of the Titans' that was released in 1981. I didn't watch the old version I'm sure I would prefer this mainly due to the up till date filming technology. The movie comes in 3D version too but I rather watch it without the 3D goggles to spare me from watery eyes and spinning vision.

It's nice to watch Perseus, the son of mighty Greek god Zeus, saves the asses of both gods and humans in his quest to battle Hades. The disappointment was not seeing Perseus battling more mystical creatures like Kraken (giant squid), Calibos (Satyr like monster), Minotaur, Hydra, Hellhound or Dioskilos (two-headed dog).

Hahah, a sorely dispointing movie, nonetheless, it has some really good effects, and The scorpion battle was a quick reminder of me hunting with random people in monster hunter^^

Seriously Im pissed there wasnt a lot of monster hunting^^;

I think there'd more good than disappointment but I truly agree on the lacking of monster hunting.

i saw the first movie (1981) & it was a great experience... the story & the stop motion animations were a great effort that 3D digital effects can’t emulate... indeed that movie is a classic, so it can’t b compared properly with the actual remake =PPPP

Tell me if you like the movie after you watched. I'm certain it's not a bad movie.

I'm sure you will enjoy the movie more if your eyes are suited for 3D effect.

Hey! Not only you know a lot on Gundam, you are also quite a guru on classic movie bro! Miss your blog on movie review in the past!

There would be many critics of this new version when compared to the classic especially when the first movie was so well made back then in 1981 which became a classic movie of all time.

Glad that the items reached safely to you. Cheers!

To show my age, I actually saw the 1981 version in the theaters - someone get me my prune juice - lol

It was mainly claymation and was well done for that time. In the original, there was a lot of monster hunting and an surprised that there is not much in this one from the reviews.

I am still looking forward to seeing this movie with my wife.

Oh yes, claymation was really the state of art filming method for action movie in the past. I guess most share the same sentiment that the latest remake lacks monster hunting.
