Robotech Macross VF-1S Veritech Fighter - Matchbox

To follow-up with Rick Hunter figurine, here's a vehicle for him. This is so far the biggest veritech (valkyrie) you can find though it's not transformable. I bought it loose on Ebay and have no idea why this VF-1J was printed to look like Roy Fokker's VF-1S. Well, at least there's no yellowing to the toy and the mint condition make it ideal for play and display.

nice find - I kind of remember those at Toys R Us way back when. The full box was huge on the shelf.

That one big plane! It must be heavy! Really a vintage.

The human figurine is too big for the seat..

The box for the veritech is really big. With the box, the shipping will be too costly. Hee! Hee!

Not too heavy for something its size. In fact Dendrobium is heavier.

Definitely, more of a toy for kids, just like the TV commercial.
