Christmas Toy Night Shoot 2009

We did daytime photography shoot the last time and now let's try night shoot. Here we were along Orchard Road on Sunday evening filled with crowd. The Christmas lighting there would sure filled you with the atmosphere of season greeting.

It was this Sunday that I came to realise that the Achilles heel of my point-and-shoot camera really is during the night. It's especially difficult to take decent pics and the result was much inferior compared to those taken by DSLR. Could it be the limitation of my digital camera or am I unfamiliar with night shoot.

We had a bigger group this time and maybe because of the crowd, we took a longer time to warm up. Nevertheless, the enthusiasm kicked in when we were outside ION Orchard. We literally camp there, ignoring the eyes of bystanders, only engrossed in posing toys and phototaking. Cheers!

You know your point and shoot cam came out better effect than my DSLR. I guess it must be you who know how well to take your toys. :) I love the Guncannon as ornament on Christmas tree shot. I didn't know that was Guncannon in the first place when you were taking that. LOL

Didn't want to waste Leon's effect of taking the pic of me, so I post the 1:1 Katsuden. Ha! Ha!

great shots! you seem to really have some fun with all this. I need to get my arse together once I move and take some outside shots again.

It is great that you all can get together to do this. Maybe I will luck out and find some like minded people when I get up North.
