Otaku Hobby Shops @ Liang Court

Some of the leisures after work include as going to Liang Court (Just next building to my workplace) to have Japanese food. You can expect excellent restaurant service been greeted upon entering and leaving cos they are mostly dealing with Japanese expatriates patron here. At times, the restaurant also play anime songs and there was once I heard Macross 'Do U Remember Love' song while having my Tonkatsu Emu Rice. Feels like I'm back in Japan. Shiok!

Liang Court is known for its strong Japanese patrons base, well support by Japanese Meidi-Ya supermarket where they sell Japan stuff you don't see else where. This shopping mall recently has new addition like 'Uniqlo' Japanese designer's apparels and 'Hobby Atelier'. My favourite hangout place is definitely is Kinokuniya for manga related stuff and Gundam magazine. It's an excellent place to shop for gifts books too!

Adorable stuff especially if you are into 'Hello Kitty' can be found @ level 3, Rinko Ya and just beside is another hobby shop, Hobby Atelier, where they sell my favourite kind of toys. If you are looking for brain teaser toys, check out 'WonderWorks' @ level 2 where they sell LEGO where every is awesome ... of course other engineering toys. Workshop of robotics available too!

Date A Live - Tohka Yatogami Taito Figure

Gundam Parody

Hontōni Hontōni Hontōni Really? Really? Really? Code name: Princess who is as innocent as a baby when love sealed away her powers. Having finished watching season one, it's a hilarious anime incorporating fight scenes. Much like a dating game with a dash of ecchi-ness and occasional parodies of other mecha anime.

Date A Live Tohka Yatogami by Taito can say to be the most affordable Tohka available. Some say its counterfeit nonetheless the quality of this prize figure is pretty good. There's a close face resemblance to the anime, though not perfect. Her expression is a bit pissed which presented the moment she descend to earth, dress in black, cream, and pink color scheme and a set of purple and cream plated armor, adorned her shoulders and waist.

The paint job is clean and neat, which is uncommon to a typical prize item. Just look at the dress is open at the back and made up into a black corset, exposing some of her cleavage. An umbrella like knee-length skirt which has a pink-to-white gradient. Beautiful hair tied back by butterfly-shaped hair accessory. Ready stance, with arms in gauntlets and petal-like cuffs holding her board sword known as the 'Sandalphon', which needed the knot at the end of the handle to be removed for the figure to hold. Overall, this is a recommendable 1/8 scale, approximately 6" figure to acquire. In good texture with few seam lines been spotted.

Big Giant MS-07 Soft Vinyl Gouf

I told you! I'm no normal Zaku! I'm the 'Blue Giant'. Banpresto's version of MS-07 by soft vinyl material. Manned to look massive standing taller than 13", lack in details to look just like those you see in the very first Gundam OYW anime. So it's anime accurate... Lol Gouf proves to be a formidable foe against Gundam RX-78-2,armed with a 75 mm machine gun hand on the left and superheated slicing weapon that's painted orange and infused to the right hand on this figure. There's only 7 points of articulations including the head so basically the figure is primarily in its standby pose inside hangar. The authenticity mark is situated at the heel of right leg. The 3.5" Ramba Ral figure not included, it's a compliment from the set of Gundam O.Y.W character figures set.
