Rebuild of Evangelion Premium Figure Vol.1 - Makinami Mari

 










Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 movie has finally released. The movie has yet to hit the shore here. Anyway, judging from Evangelion past plots.. I suspect there will be lots of tragedies. Meanwhile let us look back at past figurines for EVA main female protagonists and specifically Makinami Mari in previous Rebuild of Evangelion movie. 

She's in your sweet pink plug-suit for Unit 05. Never go wrong with sakura pink colour. The pair of red eyewear catches everyone's attention and makes her look a lot more studious. Don't be deceived by her gentle appearance! Those hair apparels also added more details to the figurine. Kudos to SEGA for these prize figures for ease to our wallet.

    I have seen this new female character in previous rebuilds of Evangelion, but I don’t know about her role in the most recent rebuild, I guess more shades are added to the character... This PVC statue is very nice and detailed, with very good finished overall, it’s a great complement for your Evangelion collection and pairs nicely with Asuka and Rei... Regarding the rebuilds, as far as I know and more precisely by the impression the previous rebuilds left me, I think they are less obscure, enigmatic and tragic than the original anime series, but perhaps this third installment will have a twist, who knows, I will have to watch it too!...
