Authentic sticker on prize!
Other Ichiban Kuji prizes in this series included kid Vegeta 4.5”(12cm), 16cm tall Bardock with diorama, a 21cm tall Baby Goku in Saiyan space pod, several Saiyan Scouter wall mount items, Dragon Ball pillows, and even some Saiyan tails!
Released in 2009 from Banpresto Ichiban Kuji division, Prize F, comes the sensational Saiyan Space pod scotch tape holder. The pod is kind of small measuring only 2.5"(6cm), assembled by 3 simple parts. Even though it is not a high end prize, the whole idea is pretty interesting. The tape has Dragon Ball theme design like the face of Vegeta as shown and by looking the clear window of the pod, it as though Vegeta is inside it. There are actually many different tape designs to choose from random pack. It's sure novelty collectible that one would not bear to use this stationery.
What a cool tape dispenser device !!!... The idea is simple but in my humble opinion is very well executed, I mean Banpresto used good quality plastic and the mold is neat... This kind of stuff is difficult to find here and the price point is usually higher, due to the extra shipping cost and taxes =/... The other items in the series are cool too, even the pillows !!!

ReplyDeleteI must agreed that the idea is refreshing and practical just that many would probably not use it but keep it as collectibles. True that with shipping the cost of such item would be more expensive and shipping cost probably outweigh the initial cost.
Hey Dennis I have this and review back in 2009! I bought that in Hongkong visit tho. Hehehe http://www.openthetoy.com/2009/05/dragonball-vehicle-2-saiyan-space-pod.html

DeleteThe Figurise Pod is an awesome release. I didn’t get it though cos I’m really pleased with the 3rd party resin pod u see in this post.. will do a more in depth post on that Pod later ...
I think this is more like a display item rather than a stationery.
