Master Grade kit of the Londo Bell Corps' high-performance Elite GM. One of my favorite mobile suit from 'Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn' in 1/100 scale. What more can I ask for. In the OVA series, the units were deployed to escort Unicorn Gundam.
A special gimmick of this GM goes to the moving shield arm. First GM that won't need the shield attached to the arm. Movable shield arm can hold the shield against the backpack or in a usable position. One half of the shield share similar design on Jegan. So are the grenades mounted on the side of the waist.
A very good looking mobile suit with head design resembling the GM Custom.
The dark colour scheme gives the unit a badass appearance.
In addition, this kit incorporate proportions and features once thought to be unique to top-level kits, now made standard for the Master Grade series. Added features of MG in comparison to HG is the open hatch of cockpit, clenching fingers and extended kneel joints for great articulations. Last but not least, this kit is made in a way that L.E.D light can be fixed inside the head so you will see the visor glow. L.E.D bulb and circuit sold separately though. I bought mine built and painted. Kind of like the shading done on this kit.
There has been a long way since the first GMs seen at the beginning of the Gundam series and the more recent renditions from the current OVAs... You can feel that now the GMs look like the previous leader pilots’ mobile suits, pretty much like what you see in the real life, with the special ops units, full of high-tech gadgets and specialized armament for "surgical" strikes... This is an stupendous mecha design, with nice details everywhere, the somber color schemes plays a crucial role in the menacing appearance and both the big and small Jestas are a pleasure to watch !!!... =D

DeleteI think RGM had reached its peak at Unicorn series timeline and taken seriously in terms of design and upgrade. IMHO, the MS design looks kind of lame and weak towards the end of UC.. The story board became rather boring too..
The rifle looks blank, bro!
