Some pics of Gundam and other toys related stuff contributed by Stanley during his solo trip to Japan, taken on 27th May 2015. Sorry to all for taking a long while to process the pics. Enjoy the Gundam on display and recent announced entry in the lineup. Also some of the exclusives and Gunpla that were nearly arranged. A place that Stanley would look forward to after his application to Gunpla factory at Shizuoka was unsuccessful.Impressive battle scene diorama of Diorama Gundam Built Fighter Try GBFT and the the forcefield effect of G-Self was awesome under lightings. Splendid display of MG Hyaku Shiki Version 2.0, P-Bandai Mega Launcher and so is the orbit entrance pack.
I thought its in SG, but still the showcase there in Japan are cool to see...directly I mean haha...

ReplyDeleteHow I wish as well... Nope, it's thanx my friend Stanley who visited Japan.. He supplied me with the pics taken by him.
i have not seen such amount of special editions of gunplas, gathered in a single event !!!... so many clear, golden/chromed/red/blue plated and satin metallic finishes, also there were some customs, dioramas and SDs !!!... Japan knows how to keep a wide fan base with it comes to gunplas, don’t you think so ???... =D

DeleteOh yes, those exclusives itself made up quite the attraction, though I'm not so much of a fan of clear model kits. I do like the diorama a lot. Diorama at this scale definitely an eye candy however too massive to be kept unless for rich private collectors.
Unicorn is still my favourite :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, Unicorn Gundam gave Sunrise and Bandai a firm foothold again this recent era.
