Code Geass Suzaku Kururugi Ex Portraits Trading Figures

Suzaku Kururugi is said to be my favourite character in the highly acclaimed mecha anime 'Code Geass'. Suzaku is a naturally talented in combat as well as a Knightmare Frame pilot. His kind-natured non-aggression personality and his talent made him the hand picked knight to Princess Euphemia and eventually gained the respect as the 'White Knight' of Britannia even of his humble background. The plot of 'Code Geass' are often twisted and depressing so to say Sazaku faced lots to hardships like bearing the guilt of killing his father, not being able to protect his love from dying and having to countlessly fight against his good friend.

Truly pleased to obtain these two Code Geass Suzaku Kururugi Ex Portraits figures. Suzaku with light brown hair and forest green eyes. One clothed in 'White Knight' attire and other in a white nightmare frame battle suit. From Bandai and released in 2007-2008, sold in blind box containing random PVC character figure.these superb trading figures produced as high-quality come with clear naval blue circular Geass display base. The Suzaku wearing white nightmare frame battle suit was from the first EX-Portraits trading figure series and come together with a bonus black cat 'Arthur' figurine. Suzuka in an Evangelion style pose with that Bluetooth like communication device worn at the the ear. This figure is more scare in market and when someone list it on EBay, the bid usually goes pretty high.

Suzaku in 'White Knight' attire came as a bonus when I bought the Sakuka in pilot suit. Suzaku in 'White Knight' was mistakenly sent to me and when I checked back with the EBay seller from Taiwan, he was kind enough to send the correct figure to me and had told me to keep the other as well. A very professional way of business dealing. Suzaku in 'White Knight' attire is an awesome figure too with Sazuka drawing his sword in confrontation stance. This figure is from the second batch of EX-Portraits figures.

  1. everything in this anime series has a clean design, including the characters’ attire, it has a certain resemblance with some Gundam and Macross uniforms (along with the Evangelion reference you mentioned) so, it’s "vintage" in some sense... the body proportions of these characters is also quite languid, famished and there are tons of anime series with this kind of character design, i wonder if the japanese culture is too obsessed with the thinness or something like that !!!???... =O

Ha! Ha! I'm must apologized for some hush words to the seller as I was so mad to first received the wrong figure. I wrote to him saying I'm not going to spend anymore time and money posting the wrong figure back to him for the right one as it was his fault to begin with. I'm glad we went through the ordeal in an amicably way. Somehow, I had more good experiences dealing with the Taiwanese and Japanese over foreign sellers online.

Ha! Ha! Maybe Suzaki had tried to hard to strike @ stylish pose. Let's not worried he might dislocate his shoulders ^_^
