GM or in general visor fans now have news to cheer about with Bandai announcement of its Premium-Bandai released of Master Grade MG 1/100 scale GM Cannon. As for me, the news would seems too later as I had already built my own 1/100 scale GM Cannon from conversion kit on mainly MG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. O.Y.W and as for the shoulder, I had replaced it with GM Sniper Ground Type. The conversion kit was a recast of B-Club resin and presumably more inferior. Good to do some filing or soaked the resin in hot water with detergent, gently rubbed off those greasy surface.
The assembly was rather straight forward with main replacement parts like the lower portions of legs and torso been super-glued together.
Gotten factor in the additional cost of paint, more time and effort on this GM assignment. Good thing the basic colours for this Mobile Suit Variant was not difficult to find from standard epoxy spray can. Upon completion, it gave me much satisfactions to think that it was fully painted and unique to me. For that, I will give the P-Bandai GM Cannon a miss. RGC-80 GM Cannon really looks cool with those enlarged calves and the overall armour more beefed up.

this mobile suit shows that the years have passed since it was created, that’s the way the future looked at the end of the 70s !!!... the rugged texture of the extra parts painted is kinda odd, but it doesn’t look bad, it rather gives it another feeling, like it were bulletproof add-ons... =)

DeleteGunpla had been improvised from time to time with face lift at different eras. Apologies that due to my lack of Gunpla skills, the conversion kit was not been achieved to its optimal look. I could only make the best from the knowledge and skills I possessed. I think I had not done enough filing which resulted in the rough surface.
Black, white and red are my favourite colour combination :)
