Shiny Cosplayers @ AFA 2011

AFA 2011 can never be completed without the support of cosplayers and their crews. This last post of the event is a tribute to these dedicated people. At the event, you will be sure to bump into these gorgeous cosplayers right from entrance/exit and the convention hall. One of my biggest find was the Green Power Ranger and my favourite ranger had given me his most fearsome pose. As I roamed around the event hall, I had approached cosplayers for a photo and even some may not be cosplaying,  they looked really cute and they were sporting enough for phototaking. Before leaving, I saw even more cosplayers one level below AFA convention hall posing for photographers and so I joined in to take more pics for you guys. Lol...

  2. Oop! Just realized I go mainly for the gals. I'm never a cosplayer and I'm probably too old to that. Lol..

  3. i realized that there is a trend in cosplay around the world... the gals are the majority, they even cosplay male characters... sometimes is a matter of shyness (LOL) but i think the main reason is that many male characters in anime series are androgynous, so girls can do a better job than boys... if handsomeness is your business, then you can cosplay, so why i’m not cosplaying???... my problem is shyness... BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

  4. I think apart from shyness, we don't have a group of friends into cosplay who will influence us. More female cosplayers than males as they are more open and a good opportunity for them to look good. A lot of male characters in anime these days look feminine so it makes female easier to cosplay them

  7. Oh yes, not only they need to fork up money to do their costume & props, they might even face words of criticism from others who have little understanding of cosplay.
