I have made mistakes to the transformation of DX VF-25 Alto on my last blogging attempt and hence I will re-blog it again with the recent photos taken. This time round, I have chosen a black background to give it better contrast since this toy is fairly white.
Bought this Alto’s custom VF-25F together with Ozma’s. The colour scheme of Alto’s VF-25F custom is similar to DYRL Hikaru’s VF-1A and that’s maybe because Alto is the main role just like Hikaru. VF-25 valkyrie is bigger if you compare its size with 1/60 Yamato VF-1.
Macross Frontier has a happy ending but the relationship of Alto, Ranka anf Sheryl was rather inconclusive. Some say that there would be a movie to the series and Alto would make his decision in the coming movie. I have placed my bet of Sheryl Nome. How about you?

I would say it's fairly detail for a toy that has 3 transformation mode. Cos of these I have been following its toyline.
Yup this is an expensive one alright. I had consider getting this... but then thought aganist it. Since I should really concentrate on one hobby only. haha
ReplyDeleteSUPERB !!! i barely watched 2 or 3 OVAs of this series & i was enchanted by these mechas... this colour scheme seems to me so classic & i like a lil’t bit more the other colour schemes available for some Macross like the VF-27 Lucifer Valkyrie Brera Sterne Custom or the RVF-25 Messiah Valkyrie Luca Custom... however i hav one VF-25 Super Messiah Alto Custom model kit in my future wishlist... =)

Using the black backdrop is my little tryout and thankfully it works. Sheryl's hot! Lol

There's no formula to it. I simply use a black cloth as the backdrop. No extra lightings since I took the pics during bright sunny day in my living room. Pics were taken using point-n-shot Cannon digital IXUS 80IS. I did process the pics using Adobe Photoshop CS & PhotoStudio to enhance the pics. Playing around by tuning the contrast, exposure and saturation.

ReplyDeleteBut the thing is... I can't see the cloth. When I use my black board as a background, it reflected light. But your black cloth doesn't do that. What kind of cloth do u use???
It just the cotton fabric cloth that ain't silky so it would reflect light. On the original pic, I will see the background is cloth. What I do was to reduce the exposure, increase saturation, increase contrast.
