Real Grade (RG) Standard Green Zaku II - Built

The MS-06F Zaku II Real Grade grunt green type, design to follow Master Grade 3.0 with flexible inner frame and armour that comes in different shades. The articulation of this 1/144 scale are fantastic but come with the agony of posing it, fearing the joint brokerage and fallen parts. Real Grade are seriously not my cup of tea. Though the fingers can clench, it couldn't quite grip the weapon. In my opinion, there's too many small parts which may run the risk of losing them. 

Applying the stickers can be quite the pain as well and best using a tweezer. I can understand the need for details when it comes to Gunpla of bigger scale. It's probably my inferior skill to handle tiny stuff. Good thing this was done by Kenny Ang. Gimmicks included eye movement as the head rotates. Optional commander antenna and various rank stickers. This kit you see was done by Kenny Ang with additional metal studs, 3D mono key sticker and matte top coat. 

Tales of Vesperia - Flynn Scifo 1/8 Figurine

If you are fan of "Tales" game/anime, check this out. Flynn Scifo is an important character in Tales of Vesperia that come close to being the protagonist. I got to know the character while searching for popular knight figure. It's didn't play the game however I watched the OVA which told the story before what lead to the game's storyline. Flynn is the protagonist, Yuri Lowell's best friend and both trained as Imperial Knights. unlike Yuri, wishes to change the Empire from the inside. From the japanese video game 'Tales Of Vesperia' comes this impressive statue of Flynn Scifo, made of PVC. It stands approx. 22 cm tall and comes with a mini Figure (stands 6 cm tall) in a window box packaging. 

Flynn is one of my personal favourites from Tales of Vesperia. The sword is removable, and the miniature version of Flynn has detachable sword, sheath and shield. I forked out quite a bit for mine when I purchased it on Amazon, before the re-issued. My heartache when I knew about the re-run. On the other hand, kudos to see the supply meeting the demand. This figure is just awesome and Alter did a wonderful job of recreating Flynn. Veteran figure maker Mirano missed no detail, spikes on the shoulder guards, the buckles on the belt and all the small wrinkles on the clothes are crafted to perfection. His armor has a nice pearly metallic shine to it, and the detail everywhere else is just spot-on. His arm comes off in order to place the sword in its sheath; the sword comes as a separate accessory. Little Flynn comes with a base, sword, shield, and sheath to attach, and has a movable head. This has to be my favorite 1/8 scale knight fantasy statue till date.

HGUC RGC-83 Gundam GM Cannon II

RGC-83 GM Cannon II is a mobile suit from the anime OVA Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. Heavily armed and with long ranged two shoulder-mounted beam cannons. Deployed as support unit to GM Custom and defender to Albion carrier. Versatile at mid range with 90mm machine gun as well as beam saber for close combat. Above all are the 60mm vulcan guns mounted in the head at last-resort. It uses Chobham armor based on the same design as the RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex". However, its dexterity was at the expense of agility. There are few in number and is not seen much in action after 0083 while GM Custom migrated to GM Quel when Titans came in power. 

I had used a mixture water-slide decals and especially like the Albion emblem (Pegasus). Had used red marker on some parts. Did some penal lining before top coat with matte surface. The kaki green stands out with matte top coat however the light grey portion remained pale. 

Full Metal Panic! Plan 1055 Belial Robot Spirits Side AS Action Figure

Seriously, I'm all familiar with Plan 1055 Belial, though its from "Full Metal Panic!". One thing I'm sure its definitely not in the anime. I must admit that its a really sexy Arm Slave(AS). The Plan-1055 Belial is one of the worlds first 4th-generation Arm Slaves. It is Leonard's personal AS, and he uses it to destroy the ARX-7 Arbalest. It has a really sleek design and can be posed gorgeously with a bow weapon. I would assume that its designed for long-range attack. At close-up, it has a 40mm vulcan which is an interchangeable part. 

Somehow, I can't help relating the mecha design with the black version Bunny Suit from the anime "Tiger & Bunny" though they are never related. The toy has a nice chrome silver paint and some gun metal shades. Great articulation from Robot Spirits, just be mindful with the shoulder armorer as it popped off a couple of times when I moved the arms. I don't think the figure hold up very well as its like standing on high heels. Nonetheless, the toy come with a clear stand which helped a lot in posing it.
