G.F.F 0027 Gundam Blue Destiny 02

This is the second half of my post on G.F.F 0027 Gundam Blue Destiny Unit 01 and with the remaining parts, Blue Destiny Unit 02 was constructed. This unit which looks bears the head of Gundam was hijacked by Zeon and later piloted by Zeon ace captain Nimbus Schterzen. So, you see one version of Unit 02 having Earth Federation prints and the other with Zeon - Nimbus' Custom. It's like assigning Nimbus to Unit 02 in 'SD Gundam G Generation Spirits', the standard MS would change to Nimbus' Custom with the red shoulder plates.

MMPR Yellow Power Ranger

If you asked me about Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, my deepest impression definitely is the very first English season where the zords were in the form of prehistoric creatures. There were so more of excitements then watching each episode shown weekly anticipating the rangers saying "It's Morphin time" and them calling out their zords. The Yellow Ranger was first played by Thuy Trang as Trini Kwan. It's sad to know that this Vietnam-born-artress had passed away at the age of 27 during a car accident in year 2001.

Came across this Yellow Ranger action figure while I was trying to get the Green Ranger. In the process, I also bought this as well more for it's pricing. Produced by Bandai in 1994, this figure stands around 10" and has got a button on its back. Upon pressing the button, Yellow Ranger would start her karate chops. The condition of the toy isn't in its excellent state as the white portion on the limbs are showing signs of yellowing.

MSIA Force Impulse Gundam

I was retaking the pics for MSIA Force Impulse Gundam when I rediscovered how good this toy was made. Unlike the older version of MSIA, Force Impulse Gundam is better detailed and you won't see those thick panel lines like those found on pioneer MSIA figures.

The other recommendable reason is the accessories that came with the toy. Cool feature like the "Folding Razor" anti-armor knifes, were not only made foldable as accessories but also could be stored in hip armor. The mini core fighter could actually be folded and attached to the rear of the action figure. Another interest thing is the shield, it could be arranged either retracted or extended. Lastly, the 'Force Silhouette Pack' could be attached to another aircraft  before delivering it to the MS, alike Aile Strike Gundam.

The figure is also highly posable with extendable elbow and kneel joints which had significantly increased the range of movements. I'm now really tempted to get other MISA from Gundam Seed series.

Banpresto Macross Battroid Figures

Produced by Banpresto in 1998, these figures were prize giveaways in Japan, from machine lucky dip or UFO catcher. Each figure stands approximately 11cm on a base that's 6cm in width. As you can see, there's no articulation and all the figures took the same stunt. There are many variants of VF-1J from Hikaru, Max to Millia colour scheme. Of the lot, VF-1S (Skull Leader) is the unique one that stands out among the rest. They were supposedly low budget Macross merchandises that were suitable as display at office or to compliment other Macross collection displayed together.

15th Craziest Toy Sale

This may sound ridiculous but some of these toys are really going at unbelievably low price. No wonder it's call the 'Craziest Toy Sale'. Reliable tip off from a fellow toy collector, Arvin, who had gotten himself attractive loot during the start of the sale. Arvin managed to get Gundam MSIA for as low as S$5/-. I had gone down at a later date so I guess most good stuffs had been grabbed. Well, there are some other items had might interest you.
