Giant Killing Anime ジャイアントキリング

By recommendation of legendary Guy 'A', I have finished watching this 26 episodes anime on soccer in a breeze. The thing I like about sports related anime is the spur of positiveness and inspiration to the passion for sports and life itself. It's like doing the same thing everyday but having a positive mindset makes a whole lot difference to one self and others. The anime focus on a young soccer manager reforming his team, saving them from relegation in the J-League and taking on richer & stronger teams to proof the possiblity of giant killing. Well, success doesn't come easy without series of setbacks before the team reestablished itself progressive in a realistically manner. You will see some smart and yet logic strategies deployed during the matches which really set you in the mood and pump up the adrenaline just like watching an intriguing 90 min soccer match live.

ETU all the way! This one is my favourite soccer anime without a doubt. Its more realistic over the likes of Captain Tsubasa or Inazuma Eleven (which I also follow just for the fun of seeing those over-the-top hissatsu moves)

Thank you the recommendation. The anime is indeed nice even to someone who's not into soccer like me. The anime ends well after the match against Osaka Gunners (exciting) and makes me crave for more.

I believe most anime ain't stranger to you and this type of short anime won't take up much of the time to complete.

i have not seen any anime series since a long time =/... great graphics & actions sequences, smooth transitions between normal animation & CGI... the only soccer anime series i remember is Superchampions (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA i’m a bit outdated, but i hated those eteeeeeeeeeeernal sequences for just a simple pass from a soccer player to another)... =O

Giant Killing is fast pace given the fact that it only has 26 episodes to sum up the anime. You won't have to wait eternally for each match to end.

>> Tachikawa
Ha! Ha! You sure know how to promote your anime!
