How to choose? How to choose? So many toys I like but only to choose the top ten. Here's a list of my top ten toys for year 2010 through biases selection and elimination. Ha! Ha! At top spot is definitely 1/3000 SDF-1, the iconic mothership of the epic Macross series. Second spot goes to 1/76 Scale GBP Hikaru VF-1J Armored Valkyrie cos it's a toy that I craved for but failed to get as a kid. Third placing is 1/72 Minmay Guard VF-1S for its awesomeness in terms workmanship by the previous owner. 4th is MG GM Custom for its unique colour scheme. 5th is MG Gundam Ez8 for its nice fusion between Gundam & GM. 6th is Pegasus Albion Playset for the fun it provide (Those miniature MSs that come along are adorable). 7th is G.F.F 0032 GM Sniper Custom as a gem hard to find and for its detail. 8th is Gundam Fix #0026 RGM-79 as its the first RGM Kai ever produced in the form of action figure. 9th is Genbusou Ryofu for its majestic armour and satisfaction of me painting it. 10th is Ryofu Tallgeese simply because it's my favourite ROTK character 'Lu Bu' combine with Tallgeese. With these, I'm will soon set off to celebrate my birthday and I wish everyone happy new year in advance with many good fortune to come.

Hobby Point @ Century Square Tampines

I was introduced to a new hobby friend 'Ah Tan' earlier today and through our engaging conversation, I was enlightened of a new hobby shop located at the top most level of Tampines Century Square Shopping mall. Gotten excited, I make my way down to Century Square for reece. I was told that the shop has lotz of vintage model kits so I proceed there in search of 1/100 scale RXR-44 Guntank that was released in year 1991 with the release of Gundam F91. Even though I didn't manage to find what I want, the shop does sell lotz of Gundam kits cos I spotted a vintage 1/100 Gundam F91 kit. It's definitely not a wasted trip cos I got myself HGUC RGM-79 (Ground) & MG GM Sniper.

Completion of Project MG Zeta Gundam Version 1.0 (20th Anniversary)

After some setbacks, Jason's MG Zeta Gundam '20th anniversary chrome version' finally had been given a facelift. First problem encountered was during the disassembling, I broke some 'male and female connectors' that fasten the parts together. Other problems included the original chrome layer chipping off after spraying as well as the new paint mixing with the chrome hence causing unevenness due to the erosion. I had to scrap off some parts to respray and do some paint patching. As for the broken parts, plastic cement and clamping them together will do the trick. Reassembling it without the parts' label was an uphill task too! The finally product may not be perfect nevertheless I'm satisfied of the outcome. I was surprised that the stickers could still be used after it was left untouched for more other a decade. I hope Jason will be happy to see this on Christmas day.

Transformers Toy Reference Book

I just got to realize that I have been exceeded my budget set aside for hobby lately on some impulse buying but no regrets cos them are some really awesome stuff. Unfortunately, my year-end bonus is only prorated plus having to contribute to my family joint saving account for forecasted spending expenditure this season holidays. Oh boy, I better keep my wallet in my pocket and hopefully my pre-ordered Macross 1/3000 SDF-1 (over S$400) don't come too soon.

To off load my expenses, I guess it's only wise to sell of my one and only Transformers book still in possession. This is a 143 pages picture book with complilation of Transformers toys based on year of production right from Generation 1 to Generation 2. It also comprises of some manga style drawings of Autobots and Decepticons. The illustration is in Japanese and the book is an official authentic publish of Takara toys so you can expect the high quality print.

MSIA Psycho Gundam

Psycho Gundam is considered a mobile armour because of it's huge size. This state of the art machine that is transformable from flight mode to robot mode and has weapon of mass destruction that is able to shoot laser beams from the abdomen and fingers.

Unlike most MS whereby the cockpit is located at the chest area, the cockpit of Psycho Gundam is located at the head. Psycho Gundam can only be piloted by cyber new-type and it's assigned pilot is Four Murasame in Zeta Gundam anime. The pitiful Four Murasame was a member of Titans with complex personality who wanted very badly to recollect her memories. She was more like a laboratory guinea pig used to test Psycho Gundam. She's very gentle at times and her emotion would swing like split-personality. Sure is quite sad to see her died in the anime.
